Both patterns seem far too dark for an all purpose camo, but in the right place at the right time - like they do for the promotional photos - Timber looks like it works wonders. For duck hunters that set up in flooded timber, Timber seems like the pattern of choice. That said, Max-5 and Max-7 work pretty well in that same situation and also work far better in many others.

I do believe Timber did a much better job in just about every scenario (at least where I'd normally be hunting). I always thought Bottomland was good in mid/late season hardwood treestands... I think I'll give the timber a go!

Realtree Timber is the better pattern in most all of the different areas.

Video is good! The comparison is flawed. The realtree suit has arms out providing better background; better blend into environment. Mossy OB has a arms against body. That creates the illusion that realtreee is superior?

I do agree that the “dummy” shape will affect the way it stands out. It would be ideal for me if all of them were exactly the same. Since they are set up and taken by so many different photographers the constancy is hard to keep. In some cases, the pants and jackets from the same brand are taken in different lighting and appear different. Thanks for the comment. I am trying to improve always and moving forward I am trying to find examples that match shape.

@CamoMatrix That was simply my opinion based on my eyesight! Your doing a great job! My comment wasn't met to be disparaging. TAKE CARE.
