Have you seen the gunstock from Wield VR? Coming out a week before Christmas. Looks pretty good, going to be my first gunstock for my quest 2.

You didn't mention anything about throwing grenades, stuns etc. Can you throw while holding the right controller in the cup? Is it sturdy and lightweight enough to throw while attached? Someone mentioned above about kobra vr, which I own one of his lightweight stocks for quest 2 . It was very good for throwing grenades etc. A handstrap could of been worn with that stock tooI. I see this company has missed a trick with the stock you reviewed. If it did add a strap then I guess this would answer my question😊
@bringhurstvr

Yeah, with the right controller in the cup your left hand is completely free to throw grenades.
@4KingAce

I did mean throwing with your right hand?. Being right handed is more natural to throw right handed, something I guess you would have to adjust to with left hand
@bringhurstvr
10 ай бұрын
@@4KingAce yeah, there's no freeing up your right hand, but it's light enough you might just throw a grenade with the gunstock being held, provided you figure out a controller grip. But it's all pretty janky.

@bringhurstvr ah ok. Asylum mentioned, if some way a handtrap could be added that this would solve that issue

Ultibrace gunstock will solve a lot of these issues. It’s lighter and modular.

hahahahaha. That basic training comment had me rolling. That being said, what about a sliing mount? I've been looking at the OLEN VR LoPro and the Spine. Curious how those will work, but they're back ordered and i'm not patient.

Yeah, a sling mount that attaches around the bar with Velcro would work great. And nobody's won this yet, so have at it.

I was interested at this stock as I don't like magnetic stocks which are not optimized for pump action shotguns. Thanks for the review.
@bringhurstvr

What's funny is with the ProVolver and front extension I was able to pump the shotgun in Vertigo 2 by just jolting my arms forward then back. Not ideal, but it worked reliably.
@phj9894

@@bringhurstvr that's surprising, i didn't know just rotating controller pitch is enough to pump VR shotguns. I always move my entire hand.
@bringhurstvr
5 ай бұрын
@@phj9894 I'm not really describing rotating the pitch. I'm talking about making use of inertia. If I thrust the gun forward and then back again, the small degree of latency means my hands are lagging just a tad, and what results is a pump if done fast enough.

As a casual VR FPS player, I would definitely go with this option over those 100+ options. Like you said, I could add my own straps.
