I need to be clear, The Marine Corps sword was purchased from the Marine Corps Exchange at Camp LeJeune, NC. The Army NCO sword was purchased from Marlow White since no Army Exchange has any in their local stores. I was awarded a few swords during my induction into the "Royal Order of the Saber" however these swords (3 of them) were replicas purchased by my Battalion Headquarters for very little money. It was still an Honor to achieve this recognition, but it only led me to purchase officially certified Swords.

Army doesn't have a NCO sword. You should have never switched branches.

What you have for the Army NCO sword is just a piece of D&C “junk”. Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry (Armor or Air Cav), as well as the right kind of Engineer (finding mines & laying demo) and the right kind of pilots Have Sabres, not swords. They are etched. They are thick, beefy, Saber blades. I, as a MP wouldn’t have one, except I have a Stetson & Spurs. And I served at Arlington too. Apples & dump trucks.

That comment is not helpful at all. Thank you for pissing on the subject. Most of us already have authentic swords and sabers from the 1860's and up. This was just a comparison of commercial modern produced ceremonial NCO Swords today.
