Thanks for making this series. I downloaded Arc a couple days ago and unless i'm missing it or my old man brain is failing again their help vids were not that helpful. This whole series gives me a good idea on set up and use and omg the multitude of shortcuts. As these are 6 months old now in march 2024 what about a followup? Are you still using ARc are there things you are doing differently now?

Appreciate the thoughtful comment! I AM still using Arc pretty much every day, at least on mac. On my iphone i use safari. Honestly im at the point where its pretty ingrained into habits. I love split screens (Control-Shift + or holding down option and clicking a link) a lot still. I dont use their AI features much and instead rely on perplexity mostly for that since i do a lot of research and fact checking. I also do not use easel as much as i thought i would, but hey to each their own! The main advice I have is start small with one or two spaces, and feel free to add a lot of sites to your favorites. I pretty much memorized which sites are which shortcuts and its quite nice to be able to hit CMD+5 for youtube or CMD+2 for Gmail. Hope this helps! respect to you for trying something new

Do you know if they got rid of this feature? I'm in the new public version and I can't access the edit menu for shortcuts. It's just not there!

That's a pretty overwhelming set of keyboard shortcuts!!! Like learning Word, PowerPoint and Excel from day 1. Maybe someday...

I struggle with this. I loooove using them but it’s def cumbersome if you aren’t used to operating a computer that way. Luckily a lot of keyboard shortcuts are similar across apps. Best example is CMD + , opens settings for almost every Mac app. Once you start recognizing these patterns it feels like less of a burden to learn

For me tab navigation has been a challenge. I used Chrome before and relied on Cmd+1, 2..9 to switch tabs. But here it opens the pinned sites. So tried using Cmd+option+Arrow keys, but there is a major problem with that: If I have a pinned tab (link saved in folder) open and press that shortcut, it goes to the next pinned/saved tab (rolling my eyes) which is same as Chrome I get it but I want at least the folder's saved links to be more like Bookmarks and don't want to cycle through and keep opening all the links on the way. Do you know how I can open a link from saved folder and cycle through the tabs without opening the other saved links?
