That looks like a hell of a fun project. Turned a turd into a fun ripper for the kids. Great job on documenting the rebuild, thanks for sharing.

Firstly this guy is a UNIT!! reminds me of something out of an action movie where he just kickcs everyones ass for crossing him years ago lol. Secondly great video im going to view a 2006 RM85 later today it'll be my first bike in 25 years and feel it'll be a good little bike to get back into things.

Lubricate that overhead garage door brotha! They make special lubricant:) RM85s are the toughest 85s out there.. an absolutely rip when running @peak! Have an 86 RM85 (low hr bike) added UFO updated plastics & RK gold chain. Def use Maxima Castor 927 premix oil cannot stress that enuff! 32:1 ratio is best. Added new blue hoses & "Engine Ice" coolant. Beautiful bikes.

That damn door is packed with so much grease it’s ridiculous. What happened is the old lady backed into the goddamn thing before the door was open all the way. It’s fucked lol

Is it normal to have a tiny whole in the bottom of the crankcase for oil/blowby to purposely leak out? My crankcase has a tiny whole where just a small bit of oil drips out when the bike is running more or less. I just bought this bike, and like yours mine has been somewhat neglected/abused, but physically and cosmetically not nearly as bad as your bike was. A project bike it will be lol. Ty
