Trips to this area are rare and far between.
Many times, we find ourselves lost; only after checking the maps can we figure out our location.
On the first night, we camped on Rattle Island, a nice place not that far from the channel.
On the second night, we found a place on Silver Island. The day was windy and hot and I didn't want to explore further.
On the third day in the morning, we decided to return instead of trying to circumnavigate the island. So we camped on Desjardin Point, a mere 6km zig-zagging from Silver Island.
The last day was gorgeous, and we also got to explore Beechey Point, a cool place to camp. From there we made our way back without too much trouble.
And I forgot to mention but we saw a lot of snakes in different sets of circumstances. A mink was attacking one garter snake, a northern water snake had caught a fish. You get the idea.
Swimming was good too, Dana is a mermaid. On the last day, I also swam a lot. Skinny dipping was a blast, we couldn't find a better place for that.
