Dear Korewaa, first congratulations on your new buildings. I'm Alan from Qingdao Hemei, a professional supplier for poultry equipment and prefab poultry house. In the last 10 years, China has experienced very fast growth in poultry production ( both eggs and broiler meat). And therefore all kinds of poultry equipment has been produced to meet the demands. We are located in Qingdao city, the famous production base in China. In August, we will install cage system for 80,000 laying hens in Senegal. I hope one day I can visit your farm in Ghana. At last, thank you for your sharings. Hope all will be the best for you.

Hi Ken...the taller structure is a feed mill...it is where we will be preparing the feed for the birds... when completed, this farm would house 250,000 birds so we will need to install some heavy duty equipment in this shed...hence the height..I appreciate your positive feedback Ken 🙂👍🏾

wooooo😮..... Thank you for uploading an update Korewaa. Things are finally picking up in shape..🎉 And it's a strong motivation to lots of us seeking to venture into similar farm projects. Currently, we intend to start with over 15,000 Catfish fingerlings, 30-50 Goats and 10-15 pigs and some vegetable farming in July/August. Some people are of the opinion that it isn't advisable to locate the fish farm at the same place with the goats and pigs... any opinions, korewaa??

@Korewaa-GhBizGirl

Thanks Yummy Mommy...hmmm I too want to know the answerto your question😶 At the time when we made the purchase of these sheds, before corona joined us... it was more cost-effective to get these prefabricated sheds but currently with shipping cost and everything else going through the roof it may be cheaper to construct brick and mortar...I'm not certain for sure🤔🤓..we plan to build a brick and motar shed in September to be able to make that analysis ourselves 👍🏾😊
