Thank you for your input! You're absolutely right, and we appreciate your attention to detail. While the question was about crimping CAT6 cables onto RJ45 connectors, the term "terminate" in the original comment might have caused confusion. We apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused. Your clarification is spot-on - a punchdown tool is indeed used to terminate a CAT6 cable onto a 110 block, not to crimp it onto an RJ45 connector. Your contribution helps to ensure accuracy and clarity in our content. If you have any more insights or questions, feel free to share.

Why is networking hardware in ComTIA? It's more like CCNA or Network+.
@techvaultacademy
Жыл бұрын
We appreciate your perspective! CompTIA A+ covers a broad range of IT fundamentals, including hardware, software, networking, and more. While specific networking certifications like CCNA and Network+ do dive deeper into networking concepts, CompTIA A+ provides a foundational understanding of various IT domains, which is valuable for those starting their IT careers. It's designed to give learners a well-rounded knowledge base that can be built upon with more specialized certifications like CCNA or Network+ as they progress. Thank you for your feedback!

20% of the CompTI A+ 1101 is networking 29% of it is hardware network troubleshooting so a good chunk of the exam is networking and networking related questions

Every time you put a network + question on an a+ practice test I open up my A+ book spend 20 minutes looking it up to only to come to the conclusion this isn't something I need to know yet. there are networking questions on the a+ exam but IGMP isn't one of those questions. @@techvaultacademy

I really find your videos as a great asset. But I must tell you, some of your questions are very ambiguous to the point they are downright confusing and at times feel conflicting and convoluted. I hope I am not coming off as an A-hole by saying this. When you are deeply locked in the zone and you miss a question that if worded in either a slightly different fashion or with even a slight minute detail you would have gotten correct it feels counterintuitive. Tricky questions are great, they make you go through an order of operations, especially troubleshooting types. I wish you nothing but success on your channel and you are helping many people, myself included. Again, I am coming from a place of positivity. But it is very important to be as candid as possible when expressing your honest opinion. Thank you for all your hard work. Cheers.

Thank you for your comment, Colin. I appreciate your honest feedback and your positive attitude. I'm glad to hear that you find my videos as a great asset and that they are helping you prepare for the CompTIA exams. 😊 I understand your frustration with some of my questions. I try to make them as clear and accurate as possible, but sometimes they can be ambiguous or confusing. This is not intentional, but rather a reflection of the real-world scenarios and challenges that you might encounter as an IT professional. The CompTIA exams are not easy, and they often test your critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as your technical knowledge. Therefore, some of my questions are designed to be tricky or challenging, to help you practice and improve your skills. However, I also recognize that some of my questions may need improvement or clarification. I welcome your suggestions and opinions on how to make them better. If you have any specific examples of questions that you think are poorly worded or convoluted, please let me know. I will review them and see if I can revise them or provide more explanation. I value your input and I want to make sure that my questions are helpful and effective for you and other viewers. Thank you for your support and interest in my channel. I wish you nothing but success on your CompTIA journey. Cheers. 🙌

A router provides wireless internet access(Question 29) then another answer says a router cannot provide wireless internet access? That may confuse alot of people. But yes , it provides wireless internet access.

Thank you for your feedback! We understand the concern. The response in Question 29 could have been clearer. Just to clarify, a router can indeed provide wireless internet access through its integrated wireless access point (WAP). We appreciate your input, as it helps us improve the accuracy and clarity of our content. If you have any more questions or suggestions, please feel free to share. Your engagement is valuable to us!

15 got my wires crossed, maybe someone can confirm. I saw power problems and immediately thought the answer was PoE. However, on second thought, you wouldnt supply a SWITCH's power via PoE... right? PoE would be for smaller devices down the line, wheras a switch needs a lot more juice to do it's work.. am i crazy?
