@ 11:18; Intuitively it makes sense to me that anything divided by itself (i.e. to the 0 power) is 1. However as I said "div 3 0" isn't an integer and so how could it be an argument of "power" in "power x n"? (Nevertheless I like these videos - thank you for your work.)

(div 3 0) isn't an integer, therefore doesn't conform to the types for "power x n".

yes you are correct and the teacher and the compiler is wrong, maybe the developer of haskell should contact you and fix this in their next version right?

@ 8:45 it's confusing. I don't think "(c:d:ds)" etc. have been explained in terms of any unifying Haskell syntax. E.g., in lambda-calc, f g h = (f g) h always.

@@sayanghosh6996 . 1) I trust you have a somewhat clear idea what studying "properly" is, whether or not you will bother yourself with communicating what that is. . 2) I worked with what was presented here, in the order presented, until at some point, after repeated attempts, I was stuck. I found some things were not making sense to me, which I wanted to get clarified in order to maximize chances of continuing forward. So I attempted to formulate relevant questions to get any possible helpful feedback. Isn't that a reasonable learning strategy? What more could be expected?
