Makes my Saturday morning to sit down over breakfast before everyone gets up and try to spot you in the woods. Thanks. I'm surprised that this wasn't more effective, at least to my eyes. I spotted you in all but 2 of the scenarios and I'm not particularly great at this. The camo looks like it'd be crazy effective (and it's certainly got a seriously cool factor up close). In my non scientific opinion, a lot of camo out there that looks cool up close or lying in the brush at your feet actually 1) has too small a pattern which leads to a lack of contrast and shape breaking/disruptive attributes at mid to longer ranges - the camo just blends into itself and 2) a lack of different background color fields over which the pattern is laid which would also greatly help with the overall blending into the environment and disruptive capabilities. Looking forward to your spring and summer tests to see how this camo fares.

Because of your video I decided to try some pants from UF Pro. I now own two brown/grey HT pant, one multicam black HT pant, and one Flecktarn X pant. Why? Two reasons. First, they are the only tactical pants I have bought in the last twenty years, including from Crye, that I did not have to modify in some way - something that annoys the hell out of me. And second, they fit and wear well. These are my everyday pant. It would be nice if there were some minor cross breeding of UF Pro's pants within their line and with Crye (e.g., adjustable waist and knife pocket) but, overall, their pants are damn nice. BTW, I bought the Flecktarn just for the fun of it and they are now my favorite. I live in the Pacific Northwest where the predominate colors are dark brown and dark green.

Interesting, with this you really focus on shape more than anything else, with that focus you can really quickly point just that 1 shape that doesn't belong in the environment. Of course it being on a screen means all the information is where your eyes are focused, combine that with being relaxed and our natural affinity for pattern recognition, I spotted all but 2 near instantly. Shows you the reasoning for ghillie suits to a larger degree, of course it being as said on a screen when chill it be a lot different in the wilds :)

Very impressive, I must say. I think, that this is very spot on, both for the colors selected and for the shapes of the individual parts of the "camo pattern" itself. For an environment like this, it almost goes into a "perfect fusion" of everything, all elements being "spot on". I would think, that if used in the green summer environment, it will also be very good, if used smart, sitting neat the trees and so, behind the green vegetation, mostly? Maybe it is too gray to "not stand out", if placed in front of a lot of green vegetation, but it will be very interesting to see the actual test of this, when "the green appears". My thoughts on this pattern for now. Great work and video, as usual!!

I could pick you out in the field about half the time, maybe slightly more. Things that gave it away: -your face. It stood out for color and eyes/ jaw angle. A sniper veil over your entire face would have done wonders. -the uniform is too form-fitting. I was able to see the shape of your body pretty easily. -the vegetation is very sparse right now in your area... made it easier to find you. -the brim of the boonie hat needs to be larger. It's overall smaller size makes it stand out as a distinct "shape". Otherwise, the color match to the environment was excellent, and the design features of the garments are very good. It needs to be looser-fitting to help hide body shapes for better concealment. Otherwise, looks like good gear. Thanks for making this video.
