Something I love about Lethal Company is that no idea really feels too far out due to it's world and setting. It's in 2500's, so any weird sci-fi tech ideas could work. Along being mixed with the supernatural, more "ghostly" or "magical" things can also possibly work. Obviously there's ideas that are just too far out, but usually for gameplay purposes over anything "aesthetic" wise. Name one other horror game where a Nut-Cracker with a double barrel, robots with baby noises, and leaf men would all fit and none of them feel out of place?

Really great video! Lethal Company is one of my favourite games rn, and new ideas for it always excite me. I really hope you get more subs and views on this quality content. I'm gonna share one of the ideas I had for an enemy real quick; if you make a sequel, feel free to include it with credit :3 NAME: Rot Trap SPAWNS: Outside POWER LEVEL: 2 MAX SPAWNED: 3 MOONS: Most commonly on Experimentation, March, Vow and Offense (open, expansive moons). Low chances on Assurance and Artifice. Rot Traps (also known as Fly Traps) appear as massive bulbs growing from the ground during the day, slightly smaller than the pumpkins scattered on the moons. They have an odd colour of purple, with thin vines covered in needles spreading a short distance from their base. The leaves are sharp, with jagged edges that can cut skin if rubbed against, much the same with the needles along their vines. The blood from these small wounds can be absorbed and remembered by the Rot Trap. As day turns to night and the Traps get hungrier, they enter their second phase. The top of the bulb opens a small amount to release a green gas that smells of decay, which attract the roaming locusts that are found on many moons to the plant. Time passing causes more locusts to appear, and cultivate further from the Rot Trap itself as the smell drifts. If the locusts are disturbed, they fly to the Rot Trap for safety. The plant senses this, and begins phase 3. The Rot Trap reveals the body it has hidden beneath the Earth, which is feline in shape (particularly that of a lion, with its vines making the "mane"). It then pounces on the position of the locusts that were disturbed, attempting to attack the disruptor. The bulb functions as a mouth, letting them consume the arrogant disruption. The other locusts begin to move around the fly trap in a circular, orbiting motion, alerting the Rot Trap to the location of the prey if it attempts to run. It can also "smell" any creature that it has pricked previously when in this state. If it isn't alerted for a time or it ends its prey, it returns to phase two. Other notes: They only eat one employee per day, leaving other bodies for the locusts. They are unkillable as a bulb, but take around 15 hits when chasing to end. They also often lunge at their prey in a very upward motion, allowing employees to run beneath their pounce if quick. The locusts can also be avoided, even when orbiting the Rot Trap in phase 3.

The scrapper idea sounds cool, but I feel they could also be cowards or even willing to with real team,maybe give them static intercoms to "talk" with players or respond to the shit that happens to them even including the meme of GIVE HIM BACK GIVE HIM BAAACK! possibly randomized behaviors or the ability to trade scrap for weapons for suprisingly cheap as if these guys were on a higher quota... maybe have one join your ship if all his friends died and just huddle in the corner terrified there is the posbility to give them their own ship and com's operator.... possibly for solo play if you find them and one of their friends died they wouldn't mind accepting a replacement on the spot giving ai teammates.... just cute silly things are what I think of.

I still love the scrapper idea and just wanted to add what about having mimics also affect them, which likely was already implied, but yeah, and now with the maneater, I could see both teams begrudgingly putting their differences aside for one person to babysit the maneater, and in solo, they ignore you when theirs a maneater unless you took a sizeable bit a loot but then again, main is through an elevator so they could just be bastards who steal from the elevator. And if you save a critically injured scrapper, from a monster that was about to kill them by either stunning/killing/shocking the monster they'll help carry scrap. Possibly have them be aliens, humans...furries. preservationists, or scientists Scientists would probably be slower and weaker altogether but would love to study unique monsters, akin to players who want to scan every monster(maybe pay you a piece of scrap if you help them scan a monster or a scrap related to that monster), Preservationists idk, preserve something in some way. Maybe give the scrappers a car, and let them steal your car, and both can still end up horribly like some idiot says "WE HAVE EJECTOR SEATS", presses a button on the car, and just turns on the headlights. Or one who accidentally kills himself by either blowing up the car or ejecting himself and dying horribly. and if scrappers could also use spray paint like how good high quota players do. possibly have a scrapper and player work together like if a scrapper has a zapgun and a shovel, he drops the zapgun and says the monster's nickname. or use body language to say follow me like pointing to the player, then themself then towards a general direction. Depending on how the player reacts, they'd try to kill the player or ignore them, like if the player steals the zapgun and runs away without helping, he chases after the player, then if the player leaves it on the ground and leaves it alone the scrapper would be annoyed but doesn't bother trying to attack the player, and if the player uses it on the scrapper, the scrapper screams and pants, before shakes their fist at the player, but because no real harm was caused just lets it go. Have scrappers spawn in with the occasional weapon scrap like a shotgun, and blast monsters away, that they don't want to deal with. Scrappers with a knife could just be totally insane and malicious towards everyone but has a time when it becomes a threat to everyone(maybe give them a chance to be normal and they only use the knife to kill the maneater on sight. and possibly indicate what it intends to do with the maneater when it's baby, but could also fail and just now made a grown-up maneater but at least did a good bit of damage to the maneater, like 3 to 5), and would likely be put down by their own team but their teammate thank you and offer a peace offering, being some kind of scrap or badge in addition to the knife. Another thing is we could give them the same kind of hp system for players, which means a full health one would have 5 hp, thumbers take three hits to kill, a player so , thumpers do 2 damage per hit to a scrapper, and after awhile at 1 hp they're back to 2 hp. now that I think of it, there could a be variant where they are hive runners and have a ton of hives in their ship or just try to collect bees. Heck just for jokes make it so they try using weedkiller on forest keepers, and the bracken like how players did when that first came out. There could even be a case where they get paid to kill monsters instead of get scrap, which could explain why they have a ton of weapons possibly even making their weapons slightly different in design to the players either objectively better or just lighter. make them have a green flashlight that is just a good pro one but weighs zero perhaps has a shorter battery life than pro or the basic flashlight, and the yellow version for them is super good, weighs 5(maybe 8) still but has a stun ability but takes power away from the flashlight(like three to five blasts than all out of power), akin to Luigi's mansion, much shorter stun time than any other stun item but could give players a feeling to murder one just to make giants into a joke. shovels be lighter, all their tools is not counted as sell-able scrap but their bodies could be and upon a wipe their tools are lost akin to any normal piece of scrap. but their items could be put into the belt bag because they are all tools, maybe make some worse, like stun grenades literally blow up akin to Easter eggs occasionally when dropped, or thrown, but don't set on fire or insta kill a monster just hurts the player instead(and has the chance to do nothing and makes the monster aware of where you are.) give them their own belt bag possibly doesn't even hold their tools most of the time unless they find their dead teammates it just the exact same, but less tool slots but it can hold a single scrap,or hold weapon scrap like the shotgun or knife or perhaps just allow the bag be smaller but holds weapon scrap, so shotguns, and knives, there could be a debate on stop signs or yield signs being allowed. but can't hold any keys because of a hole that's found in the bad that makes keeps just fall out easily let players put keys in but keys just fall out every time they try and most importantly give them the ability to offer a hand shake like they offer their hand to a player for a couple of seconds right outside of the building when the moon is safe and let me shake their hand when I look at it, cause I LOVE A HANDSHAKE FROM TWO GROUPS WHO RESPECT EACH OTHER :D.... this could possibly just be a unqie mode where a game is 8 players, but with 2 groups who compete with each other on different moons or directly when on the same moon

Anyways great video! All concepts were pretty interesting and creative! Was kind of hoping I was going to see someone do artistic renditions of their monsters but yknow, wishful thinking, one thing is for sure though, if I ever make my own concept monster, I will definitely draw up some mock ups for reference and for fun!

This was pretty cool! So far I have 2 ideas for new additions to lethal. Beeper: It is a chargeable item that beeps very fast and loudly whenever enemies are close to you. It will do a single short beep every time an enemy spawns. Phase Walls: These are basically walls that only some players can interact with. Monsters have a chance of being able to interact with them too. You won’t know that it’s there if you can’t interact with it and if you can interact with it then it will look like any other wall but in a hallway where it looks like it shouldn’t be. Its main purpose is to separate players and isolate them. You can’t be hurt by them. They have higher spawn rates the more players there are. I think these are relatively simple ideas that won’t completely change how the game is played. Thanks for reading if you made it this far!

The beeper sounds a lot like the sensor in the Living Halls game mode in Zeekerss' earlier game It Steals (awesome game, pretty cheap too). We already have the Device (Radar Booster) from that game so this could be a neat little reference too.

I have an enemy idea Name: Big Cat Location: Outside only Power level: 2.5 Spawn count: 1 Moons: March, Dine and Artifice are the most common but it can spawn on other moons too How it looks like: A big feline, slightly bugger than an eyeless dog, with rough hair where dust, leaves and snow stick to (for camoflauge) and with big ears and eyes Hits to kill: 15 shovel hits, immune to stun Behavior: it has a nest on a high place of the map, like a mountain, where it will spawn in the nighttime. When it spawns it will search for prey, aka baboon hawks and players, and avoid dogs, giants and old birds. The cat will try to sneak up and pounce on it's prey, then it will drag them to it's nest where it will eat them later. Players can stop the cat from attacking by looking at it to destroy the surprisr factor, the cat will still stalk and attack players if they get too close though. If a player gets dragged into the cat's nest, they can escape by waiting for the cat to leave and sneaking down the mountain to not die by fall damage. The feline has a hunger meter that decides if it keeps the food for later or if it eats it right away. If it cannot find baboon hawks or players to feast on for enough time, it will become hangry. When it's hangry, the feline will become desperate for food and even hunt dogs. A big cat can kill a dog but 2 dogs can kill a cat. If the cat is in the middle of hunting and it gets spotted by a giant or old bird, it will try to bait the attacker into getting distracted by the cat's prey in order to flee. If the cat gets grabbed by a giant, it will bite it's hand to stun it for 2 seconds, then it will flee. Btw baboon hawks are naturally scared of cats so even in large groups, a single cat can kill all of them.

I really enjoyed Lumalights and Sonas concepts. they actually feel like they could be in the game and are really terrifying, especially a first time encounter with these sounds like one hell of an experience. The others although often creative are way to strong and would probably be no fun dealing with or dont fit because they make no sense in the lore of lethal company, plus some concepts are almost entirely just repeats of existing monsters

the Combine already sort of exists in the Peepers mod, which are small enemies that stick to players and add 4 pounds each. turning the player into basically Masked enemy isn't present there though. the emphasis on it being slime / liquid metal + mind control feels like fetish mining

For the Scrappers, I imagine they would kill other Entities as well, even carrying and Shotguns and Knives from their previous kills. Some even using Signs, Homemade Flashbangs, and the drugs. I also have an idea for a neutral mob: the Pengols! An Penguin/Pangolin mix, with the intelligence of a orangutan and the curiosity of one as well, they will appear on the Snow Moons, often in groups, and will often surround the ship, curious at what the giant metal bird is doing here. They can also be in the buildings found on the moons as well, acting somewhat similar to Hoarding Bugs, stealing anything that they find interesting and will trade you for something more “useful”; like sheet metal, for which they use to build their nest, or interesting objects like flashlights, toys, or noisemakers. However, should one threaten an Pengol, be it an Eyeless Dog, a Thumper, an Masked, or you, it will let out a shrivel cry, that will gather any Pengols around to peck, slash, and maul the offender, with them using Shovels or Signs if they have any on hand, or Talons. While they go down in two shovel hits, it’s not advised to attack, as Pengols do not travel alone.

Fake exit room that looks like the main entrance but when you open the doors its just a brick wall Spiders can be distracted with lazer pointers Barbed wire item that can be placed to slow down attacking enemies and repel enemies that havent noticed you yet. It does hurt players if they dont jump over it A random door that spawns on a wall outside or inside and just leads to a pitch black pit when you open it, its rare though. A self standing door that spawns in at mid day outside. Going through it will lead you to a mirror dimension of the outside that has no enemies, no facility entrance, no ship, and no signal and is permanently day. The door will close at random times after 5 pm and can only be opened from the outside. A bug that looks like a small item but when you try to pick it up it will run or fly away. The flasher: a small robot with 4 legs and a light on the top of it that points straight up. You can hear its walking and it can hear you. When it hears you it will run to be with in sight line of the player and stand up, facing the bright light at the last known players location. While useful this light is blindingly bright when looked at directly. It does not take much to break the flasher, even running into it while it is standing up can knock it down and shatter it.

enemy idea: waldo he has a 5 percent spawn rate on every moon and there can only be one in the facility at a time. it cannot go outside. the best way I can describe his appearance is waldo from the waldo books where you look for waldo in a crowd. he has 5 stages, dormant, coilhead, timer, stalking, and chase. in his dormant state, he will stay completely still until looked at, where stage 2 will start. as soon as you look away once you spotted him he will dissapear and move onto stage 3. in stage 3 he will remain hidden whilst a 1 minute timer starts. if you dont leave before the timer completes, he will spawn in the facility with an axe where he was when he spawned, starting phase 4, he will then sneak up behind you, and when he is right behind you, he will forcefully move your camera to his face for 1 second before letting you go, starting phase 5. then he starts a 3 second timer before he runs at you, and will not stop untill you are out of the facility. the only thing that can kill or stun him are enemies which do act agressively toward him in his fourth and fifth state. if an enemy kills him, you can take his axe. if you hit him in any of his other stages then he will immediately jump to stage five. the only way for him to despawn other than getting killed by an entity is if you leave during his 25 second timer. he will also teleport randomly once he kills you. also your corpse will be found with all of its limbs torn off and there will be a trail of blood instead of your head, that if you follow it it will lead you to waldo, along with the corpses head. (jeez why did i give it so many features)

also i forgot to mention that he is invisible to other players during stages 4 and 5, and if they somehow manage to collide with waldo during phase 5, instead of teleporting and going back to stage 1 when he kills the host he will turn into phase one in the same spot of the corpse, leaving the person to collide with invisible waldo with phase one waldo, which is now waldos host.
