A concert by the UBC Contemporary Players in a program that celebrating the Belkin’s exhibition "Carole Itter: Only when I’m hauling water do I wonder if I’m getting any stronger" (Sept. 5 - Dec. 10, 2023.) Directed by Paolo Bortolussi and coach Joanne S. Na, the UBC School of Music graduate and undergraduate student ensemble performs a dynamic response to Carole Itter’s exhibition, crafted in close collaboration with the artist herself. The concert features music by UBC Professor of Ethnomusicology Michael Tenzer.
