Composed in 1999, Séjourné's "Concerto for Vibes and Strings" is a well-known classic in his extensive catalougue. This video includes the first movement and an accompaniment track produced by Alejandro Coello. The first movement of this exciting concerto emphasizes Séjourné's often improvisatory composition style. While the entirety of the piece is written out, including the cadenza, there is room for interpretation to allow the performer to make the piece their own. I hope you enjoy!
