@@twobeer3316 Actually, Johnette has a long-standing reputation for allegedly being an ill-tempered alcoholic. She didn't grow out it either. During one show I was at she was threatening to throw out people for body surfing. It was a small place and would've been impossible given the stage and ceiling height. Then in 2013, on Twitter, she called some female chef the "C" word and threatened to kick her ass. In 2016 she was reportedly so drunk she fell over during a show in Fort Worth. She's talented and not underrated by any means. She's just not someone people enjoy being around.

Yeah Johnett has one of the top ten female rock and roll voices in the history but when I ask just about anyone if they know who Concrete Blond is they say no or confuse them with something way off. The really interesting thing about Johnett is when she sings shes the loudest woman in the world but since I married the sister of the guy playing the drums in this video; Harry Rushakoff. I was fortunate to meet Johnett and the first time was down in the basement of Chicago's Vic theater. That's the their backstage basically because 125 year old buildings in Chicago never have enough room!!! Anyway Johnett in real person not performing almost speaks in a whisper. So quiet and I wouldnt say shes shy. Naw, I'd say shes extremely intelligent artistic and always paying deep attention to everything so she softly picks her words few and far between except if a subject is really up her alley and then you'll get some intelligent perspective.

Feeling the fire Under my feet I was a liar You were a cheat Playing with knives We were cut close to home Close to the bone You're so alone Something to have Something to hold Something to share So I've been told Deep in your eyes You're one hundred years old Cause the years have not been Kind to you, you know Heal it up Heal it up Heal it up Feeling the pinch Feeling the hole Feeling the void Deep in my soul Feeling my feelings So out of control Cause the years have not been Kind to me, I know Heal it up Heal it up Heal it up

My favorite band in the early 90s. Sometimes i forget how much i love them. I was fortunate to see them live in '94

I forgot she played bass too. My god she was the real deal. That guitar player too. This band was awesome awesomeness.

I always liked this song. Never knew who did it. Took 20 years to find it
