when the building department in PH reviews plans... do they review power drawings?

stvbox. Yes they review the electrical print. We had a change request on our 150 amp service to 175 amp. A service disconnect at the meter base is required so we put the 175 amp breaker in that and left the 200 amp breakers in the load centers in the house utility room. We get the "Expat" paperwork for everything and the building permit has 8 full size drawings. Site location with setbacks, perspective view with landscaping, sanitary system for black water and in our case also grey water, fire department permit sheet, (for a poured concrete house covered in ceramic tile???) Structural engineers permit sheet, bill of materials sheet, and a sheet for the mayors office, and a sheet for the tax office. All 8 locations get a set of 8 drawings. They sign off on their sheet and on your master set which will have all eight signatures. We designed the house in CAD and forwarded the drawings to a Civil Engineer. He could sign off on 6 of them, but not electrical and fire sjeets. We also got peace of mind about the structure in an earthquake area wit typhoon weather. Cost was $400??? and worth it not to have to get 6 of the signatures separately. The fire dept didn't approve our 36" wide hallway and required 2 means of egress from every room. We ended up adding 10 interior doors and adding the hall square footage to the afjacent rooms. The changes made a much nicer house and added living space from 2 hallways. We also put in 2 interior windows for light and ventilation. There are no site visit inspections until you request tie in to the electrical grid, and that is electrical only. No plumbing inspection other than complying with the approved sanitary permit drawing.
