I need to get some cement stains/efflorescence off a sand stone patio but I think is would be too damaging, any thoughts? It’s from flowpoint and it’s really doing my head in, I normally use a standard haze cleaner for porcelain but I dare not use it on soft sandstone

I'm guessing that you have just laid the sandstone? If so I wouldn't use anything corrosive. I had a similar issue once and managed to get it off this a wire brush attachment on a drill. Took ages tho. Wet the area and try that but obviously on an inconspicuous place. Then wait for it to dry and see if it has scuft the stone. There are other chems you can use with sandstone such as virtex heavy duty grime remover from wicks but again use with causion.

@@danreviewsitall ah looks exactly same as a sandstone patio I washed yesterday, I had the same problem with the lychee stains. Even my 4500psi washer wouldn't take it of completely.
