This piece was stained with a Water Based Concrete Stain- Eco Stain in Midnight Blue color, diluted with about 50% water before staining: www.expressions-ltd.com/collections/concrete-stains-colors-and-releases

Did you seal the concrete in the overflow

Yes! Anyplace that is going to get water should be sealed as best as can be. If the concrete is left unsealed, then it has a higher chance of absorbing things out of the water, which can then leach through the concrete and come up against your inside sink sealed surface, where they get trapped and visible (usually white discolorations, and usually only happens around a drain at the bottom when it's not sealed down in the hole- an overflow will rarely see water down it, so not that big of an issue!)

how long do you cure ?

Depends on the concrete mix used- for this piece we used our 'Standard Countertop Recipe' (see them here: www.expressions-ltd.com/pages/concrete-mix-recipes). Using that mix, we usually wet cure the concrete for 2 days, then demold. Wet curing is simply covering with plastic, and spraying water on the concrete a few times a day and covering back up.
