hi, thanks for the video. I have a query- Suppose I have a dataset in which I have 4 Averages (Average 3, 5, 7 and ALL years) which I have calculated within Power BI using measures. Now my colour coding should be based on the averages that I select. So suppose my data point is 10% and the Average 3 years is 12%. so my ranges will be +-5% for example (which can again vary to be between 1%-20%). So my ranges are 12%+5% = 17%(High Range) and 12%-5% = 7% (Low Range). So my point lies between this range so it should be green but if suppose my data point would have been 18%, then it would have been out of range and thus should be red. How can I make it work? I need to calculate these high and Low ranges in Power B itself which will be dynamic and will depend on the Average chosen. I need to make this conditional formatting in Line chart Thanks

Hi A2, great video and I have implemented a 4-way colour system + default through a SWITCH statement. I am finding that performance is terrible. Looking at the Performance Analyser I can see that this 4+1 SWITCH on the colour variable is quadrupling the processing time form 1000ms to 4000ms. It's actually a bit of a problem when this column updates 3 seconds later than the other columns. Would be very interested if you have any views or comments on this aspect. Thanks Nick

I have a complex problem in power BI. I need to compare between two measures a and b, and if a>b then green else red. But this should change dynamically when you select a region. Region would be there in a slicer. Would you please help to solve this issue?

Finally!!!, I have gotten what i have been look for nearly 2 weeks. You are amazing, Thanks. It is quite unfortunate that you can't use your formular on Card visuals but am sure you have some work around? I am trying to highlight any value that is not equal to zero on a Card Visual

Trying to colorize based on text value rather than numeric/sum/calculation. For ex: (red) "NOT STARTED", (yellow) "IN-WORK", (green) "COMPLETED.. Was going to try to set up variable values such as 1=NOT STARTED, 2=IN-WORK, 3=COMPLETED then colorize based on those 3 text values however, it's telling me my syntax is incorrect; not sure what is not correct - can't get past this point - (perhaps you know what's wrong or another way to accomplish w/ text)? Progress Colorization = VAR ProgressType = SELECTEDVALUE('Table1 (3)'[Step 1:FilesSent/Received])
