Praise God that I came upon your podcast. So so good. I love in particular that your perspective is from the family dynamics. When one is not used to healthy Godly family story, the vacuum of not having a sound foundation from which to navigate these issues show up when you are an adult and have no place to face these issues without a solid foundation from which to do so. Thankfully the foundation in Christ is solid for whatever needs to be faced. With God, through his son Jesus Christ, none of us need face life alone. I thank him that he points us to the godly resources such as your podcast to get the earthly help that points to the heavenly god fearing solution. Amen

Love, love ,love this!!! I am 3 time failure at marriage. 4th time got it right. HONOR AND RESPECT are crucial. Love the "Rightly related" comments. I have literally told my husband we cannot have this conversation without help. (Our premarital counselors moved to FL) so I told him if he wanted to continue that Convo he needed to find a Christian counselor or someone strong in faith he would trust and we could have the Convo with them. He is very sensitive and I am less thoughtful and careful with words than he. I grew up in family like Lisa that fought daily. (and unhealthy) I had/have so much to learn and heal from about disagreeing respectfully. Can't wait for more episodes!!

Love these! And I love that John and you have been so open about the arguments early on. I have had a boyfriend that was very controlling and dominating and forceful and it was so stressful, not of peace, and not life-giving at all! It’s nice to see that you guys were able to work out some of that intensity that you guys have talked about.

God 1st. You can idolize your spouse. Your spouse is not God. Wholeness before marriage is so important. Its a life ling Journey. Only God can heal a person's heart. Man is not God.

I can relate. My neighbor across the street has two girls and my girl always want to play with them. I have heard one of the girls taking about Halloween, they are big celebrating Halloween. Plus the mom has mentioned how her oldest ( only 5 at the time) loves playing video games. They homeschool and I quickly learned that a homeschool family is not equal to a Christian family. The mom always give me a negative feeling and I decided to not allow my kids to play with hers… I feel bad but I just can’t trust My intuition or something tells me no

There is your answer .You have no peace. Also pray and ask the Lord to connect t your friends with Godly friends and disconnected with ungodly friends. You can't connect with everyone even people that live in your street and neighbour. Not everyone is is your connection.

Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. - 1 Peter 3:6 KJV Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; - Ephesians 5:25 KJV Marriage/covenant is only for Christians.

Many relationships are based on a bunch of things like sex, food, friendship, dependancy, family but what happens over time is things breakdown causing conflict. Sometimes the balance of these relationships is lopsided, for example someone loses a job or your partner has to pickup the slack because your ill. And it's so good John isn't in on the discussion because we can blame him for everything. You're in charge so what's the plan? We don't like you're attitude so go and pray about it. You're not perfect so we won't even listen to you. I just said "I do", I didn't say "I love you" or I'll work on building a family together but it's totally your problem when things go south. I think John should find relationship and covenant with God. The priority for John is to find what John needs to make his life fulfilling in his relationships. Having others make their problems your problems by challenging your faith all the time is ridiculous. Workout your own faith by carrying your own cross, look after your own body, soul and spirit everyone. Find out what makes you happy and brings fulfillment. Were in the final days, sing praise and worship to God for all eternity.
