You must match the incoming high pressure strikes when moving. another good way other than a Stop Hit is a Spread X. This is applied by locking down, bracing yourself while angling your body towards the blade with a hard check to the incoming strike & almost simultaneously striking them with another hard check just above the elbow & slightly on the back side of their arm. This can cause a real jolt to their arm or even a hyperextension damaging the elbow ligaments, stopping their attack.
