Guess if you can build a whole ideology about your own perceived victimhood, make the other (again based on group traits u cant change) the villain, then you can always try to oppress the other into silence, compliance, or some kind of self censorship. Reminds me of all the ideologies which did paint themselves as being ''victims'' of some group (or morally superior), and then going on an extermination sprea.....weird how history keeps repeating itself. Most fun part was when the lady was talking about ''systems of oppression'', of ''whiteness'' (didnt knew skincolor was a thought and ideological system) and that a ''university is a safespace'' for learning....It is funny, since critical questions and thinking would absolutely trigger these snowflakes, who consider any thought contrary of their own as some kind of ''oppression''...While they are doing their utmost best to make their ''safespace'' not very ''inclusive''...since no other thoughts of expression allowed (very triggering). Did this summarise it well enough for you? Happy to have some feedback.

And there’s no better cover for that than making it about righteous virtues, peoples “feelings” and leveraging/weaponizing the concept of “harm”. People need to realize the self-serving strategies of Cluster B personalities, how it truly is the underlying momentum behind wokeness, and how spiritually and intellectually bankrupt it all is. It’s actually quite a malignant phenomenon. Not just culturally but also will in terms of the inevitable backlash against the very virtues these woke activist supposedly care about. And universities are just pumping out these sad, self obsessed ideologically authoritarian narcissists… I am genuinely scared for the future. She was so condescending, "I'm sorry saying fuck you hurt your feelings'- in regard to a personal, direct attack towards an individual. Yet they're so sensitive about a statement being made, not even towards them, but very impersonal ones. I think their social constructionism theory is interesting, trans advocates always bring it up. Genders are supposedly social constructs, which is fair to argue. But if society decides genders, how does that justify their argument, exactly?? If society wanted two genders and that was the consensus, that's the social reality. Just as an individual has the right to claim they believe in 900 genders, an individual can believe there's only two genders because society can formulate its own opinion. Where is the part of the theory that espouses individuals should be coerced into accepting other people's constructs of gender?? Social Constructionism would impart that genders are a free for all, not a uniformity system where people have to oblige each other's definitions. I wonder what the actual justification is that there needs to be more than two genders, besides childhood traumas and dysmorphia. Is it helping those individuals? Those sociologists admit they are afraid trans people will get triggered, how is having a bout of rage justified?? They are speaking about trans like they're sick people who need to be treated special so they don't implode. For social workers, they sure are advocating harm on a person's identity.

Maybe “social worker” means something different nowadays. 🤷♂️ In my youth a friend of mine was cut in half by a car turning over him, ending to a bush next to the street a dozen of winters ago. He died instantly. An emergency / trauma unit came the next day. Hindsight, they had no idea how to perform help. Even our temp had more to offer than all of them combined and she’s from the theatre. I still had to work it out on my own and this comes only from me. There were a handful of young individuals mourning our friend’s death and in such horrible way. It’s not a surprise I’m into psychology. These social workers are not making our lives better. They didn’t do it back then and certainly not now either it seems.
