I have shared this story on facebook, and ask if you will do the same. I cannot believe the arrogance of this man. Mahalo to those who took part in protecting our island on this day and forever we are eternally grateful.

11:42 Wait. So he _did_ have a license back in April? And the confrontation was all recently in June? Did that _lead_ to the cancellation? Sounds like a meeting is the right call. Hopefully it goes well. Communication is key. Perhaps this all could have been avoided.

Wicked man. Good for the locals to intercede. The man's hearing improved immediately when a local who is twice his size confronted him.

Does my heart good to see how you stopped that guy. If everyone cared about the land the way the Hawaiian and other Native people care about the land the world would be such a better place!

This is arrogance and disrespect. The local is right to get upset. This is what has been done to this whole country, but in Hawaii people will not allow the aina to be abused. He did not get the message even when they told him. That is the American attitude that one can exploit the earth for one's own benefit. This is what all the American Indians had to deal with. This is why our country is a total mess. There are "Sunshine Laws" that may have been violated.

NanaR504 America freed the world from tyranny and you’re living in the blessing of this nation we all created. Don’t go smearing the country and our great people because some moron broke rocks from an old pier without your input.

If the Kau people wanted to fix the ramp its up to them to decide. The video demonstrates that the majority want the ramp as is. It appears he wanted to run his commercial operation only, not kokua the people of Kau.

Hawaiians warred for 3 out of 4 seasons, had slaves, sacarificed human beings on altars, and literally worshipped a volcano. Get fucked.
