I can sense that all disapprove or sceptical of Mr Loo crash buying. But since Mr Loo has a large uncle-auntie fan (I guess) so they better do not challenge him in the public. If a person can crash buy so many times, he can accumulate a lot of wealth already at an older age, unless a person crash buy with a small amount. Bottom line, Mr Loo approach is very confusing. But I always like Kelvin golden saying; When market up, you buy, when market down, you cry a bit and buy more.

I suppose crash buying isn't for everyone. From what was described, one needs to have the layer of financial security built up over some years and only then can "afford" to take on such strategies. For sure you cannot do it with the $ u need for the next month to at least 3 or even 5 years.

Yep, I'm slowly building and DCA into my war chest in preparation for the next crash buying. My last one was Covid crash buying of tech stocks in Mar-Apr 2020. That's one top my usual DCA buys.

Basically buy low and hold, or buy low sell high. It’s that simple but you’ll be surprised how majority of “investors” don’t do it. They prefer complex instruments, all kinds of guru theories, high risk taking, so to look smart and clever, even if it means losing money most of the time.

Best way to assess crash buying is time weighted return / money weighted considering cash drag. If not objectively, it's too confusing and more of a myth.

I had asked Mr Loo before (in one of his video) about selling his holdings and got the same answer i.e. Never!!!. But how many of us (im not) are like Mr Loo where there is no need to dip into our investment at some point of our lives.....so im still thinking, rem seeing "The Fifth Person" had a recent video on how to rebalance your portfolio as you approach retirement......2cents pls 😅

Buying on market crash is opportunist. Nothing great everyone knows. Important is which stock to buy during market crashes! Buying and selling is gambling not investment. A good investor is able to score countless muti-baggers and perpetuate dividend raisers.

Everyone knows to buy market crash, not many actually buy market crash. I work in the investment industry, and I see far too many panic selling.

Buying stock is like you walk into shopping mall. When you see things on sales, you buy. U don’t buy original price only when it’s on sales then you buy.
