When the ever amazing Aleem twins introduced this song to me, I had to do a triple-take! Ultra funky.. with a great story line to boot. It was a joy & blessing to create this song with them. As TundeRa has now joined the Angel Guardians watching over us from Eternity, I will always see his smiling face... the look he had right after he played it for me... and the look on mine.

The Aleem twins played this track for me before they added any vocals. I told them it was a hit! Was I lying? Leroy Burgess is incredible on the lead vocals and has a chemistry with the twins in his interpretation of their writing style and musicianship. These guys are disciples of Jimi Hendrix as The Ghetto Fighters and backed up Hendrix on three of his great albums!

@Iridium242

Well, I will try, this is certainly a classic from my DJ Days back in NY.. Given how many times I have heard the damn song you would think I would know it by heart by now. Here goes.. Mornings always take me by surprise When I wake and I don't see you by my bed side.. I keep having these strange visions of you And tonight your gonna make my fantasy true People saying "Don't let feelings get in between" Got to take this one night only and act like its a dream But my Conscience tells me, something aint right My body says hey baby, lets make love tonight This is the beginning Or is it the end Tell me is this love girl Or is it obscene Got me like a puppet and I'm hanging on a sting All you do is pull girl, and Ill do anything Confusion, is in my brain Confusion, its got to be a love game. I fell in love, with one look in your eyes, And every time were face to face I become, memorized. First you indicate that loving you is alright. But then your playing it up with someone else tomorrow night Now your latest lover, he's my very best friend. This could bring a close relationship to a crashing end. But the problem is not got be the one to chose Seen that coin and that old trick back heads you win, tails I lose. This is the beginning Or is it the end Tell me do you love him Or are you just friends Got me like a puppet and I'm hanging on a sting All you do is pull girl, and Ill do anything From there its pretty simple to understand what they are saying lol Hope that helps.

top tunes from Mr Burgess indeed; but people who say they choose this music over crap today make me despair. No era of music is better than any other and to me it's a sign of ppl who think they know music really don't get what music is about. I'm 48 and have listened to 70's 80,s90's 00's -sure at around age 35 you start questioning what you might want to be listening too but really i'm sure you neverthought yeah at a certain age i'm not gonna listen to anything modern and start reminiscing and start brainwashing myself too say this was the best time for music.WAKE UP PPL- this is silly learnt behaviour notion and if it had any credence we would be listening and making music from a few hundred yrs ago. My quest to know good music spans all era's and to limit it anything else surely stops progression.
