Gray and Crystal are so beautiful. I hope SC clears it up real soon for them. No family should have to deal with such strife which is so easily fixed. Congrats!

Its only a matter of time, its like fighting interracial marriage - those that were fighting inevitably look like fools that want to prevent others from equitable treatment and community standing. I'll be glad when all this is behind us - the world over. As I'm not gay and very unlikely to ever be effected by this - I'd like to know any of my family members or friends could marry without drama or choose not to - as long as they have equal rights and freedoms, I'm happy.

I agree. Most oft the bigoted religious conservatives fighting to suppress equal rights for others know nothing of the history of marriage, and nothing of the social realities of same-sex parented families.

The only people who have a difficulty with this issue are religious. It's a good job religion is on the wane in most secular countries.

Fundamentalist Christians, you mean. Look at the predominantly Catholic nations in the following list of progressive nations (so much for Vatican policy): Denmark (1989 ) "registered partnerships" same-sex marriages legal: Netherlands (2001) Belgium (2003) Spain (2005) Canada (2005) South Africa (2006) Norway (2009) Sweden (2009) Portugal (2010) Iceland (2010) Argentina (2010) Denmark (2012) Brazil (2013) France (2013) Uruguay (2013) New Zealand (2013) England & Wales (2014) I heartily agree that it's fortunate that religion is on the wane. It has done--and continues to do--considerable harm.

More concerned about their identities being recognized for a silly man made construct as marriage instead of raising 4 children that were either adopted or someone here was unauthentic and had children with a man denying their own sexuality. It’s ridiculous that narcissism and constant identity seeking and shifting and lack of self awareness is clapped for when lgbt sexuality is romanticized. Constantly seeking validation and identity recognition from others is immature.

Did he just say, "the whole world is talking about this" and then mentioned 3 states in the US...??? I just don't understand why people clinge on to that medieval idea of marriage should be a man and woman! It's SO last millennium.... ;-)
