The Greater Ukuwela Nature Reserve (GUNR) is home to some of South Africa’s most iconic wildlife and a rich variety of habitats. Now, our partner Wild Tomorrow needs our help to expand and connect the reserve.
A donation to our new ‘Connecting Ukuwela’ appeal will help to secure Sisonke farm, a vital piece of land nestled between the East and West sides of the GUNR. This will protect not only the habitats and wildlife within the reserve but also safeguard the migration and movement of iconic species, such as the Critically Endangered Black Rhino, Endangered African Savannah Elephant, and Vulnerable African Lion, providing much-needed recovery for their South African populations.
Join us on our mission to connect Ukuwela, and help us reach our £100,000 target by donating today via our website! The first £50,000 in donations towards our target will be DOUBLED! Double the donation, double the impact.
