I remember Connie Francis as a young beautiful woman, and felt so sorry for the way things were going for her. As a female I also went through a turbulent life and I can say it's never easy, but never give up on yourself, don't look for happiness through relationships, it' in you. Where ever she is now, I wish her all the best, with love from a fan❤️🌹thank you Jerry for sharing her story

Thanks for telling her story. She gave so much joy to so many in my parents generation and in mine (I'm in my 80's) , it is sad that she could not have had more herself. I hope she has peace and fulfillment in her sunset years, knowing how much she has meant to so many. We have always had love for her and felt her pain.

After spending my entire life collecting everything and anything relating to Connie Francis it was alarming when one day, after surviving some horrendous cancer treatment, looked at the collection and asked to nobody in particular, what in Gods name am I gonna do with this? It was a serious question, 15 years ago, that's still being asked today. That's the collection. There are those intangible memories I'll take to my grave. Thank you Connie, for inviting me into your life.

Hi Jerry. Once again I have watched one of your stories on one of my favourite singers, Connie Francis. What a stormy road of emotion she had. I never realised. I will always cherish the memories she has given me with her wonderful songs and electrifying voice. I always thought Dick Clark thought a lot of her. He was a very good friend. I hope she has found some peace within herself and I hope she knows that there are millions out here that love her. Thank you for your wonderful narration. Well done.

Thank you Jerry for such an informative and respectful telling of the story of marvellous Connie Francis. It also explains a lot about the difficulties she faced in life and had to overcome bless her. To me it's worth noting that in the first years of rock n roll, Connie was a stand out female voice as more and more men and groups created a new pop scene....now of course the girls hold sway if you can bear to listen to them.

Thank you for your beautiful video on Connie Francis. Your calm voice and the way you talk about them just makes it feel like you care about the person not the star. Miss Francis had such a beautiful voice so vibrant and amazing. I was always excited when I got an opportunity as a child to hear her sing on radio or see one of her movies playing on the television matinee movie hours we had in my local area. The man Bob Dale who did the show was like you and he loved to talk about the Stars so all of us kids became educated about the past stars & in our area respected them compared to when you talked to kids from other areas they didn't even know who we were talking about because of course they were looking at the stars of the late 70s. I always felt bad Miss Francis's life didn't go very well and that all the money in the world could not give her a happy ending. However I will always remember that strong beautiful voice when she sang where the boys are and how she belted that out. Such a strong open natural sound that is rarely found today. PTSD is a nightmare and it is so sad that she couldn't get help for that right away instead of spending years being misdiagnosed and medicated incorrectly. But at least she had the guts to get up there on the stand and testify when most women wouldn't. But she didn't let it stop her from living life either. Even though she didn't get the wishes of her heart she did continue working she tried to do it the best you could and that's just all she could do. She's really an example for all of us there's really no excuse if she could get past the bad brakes in the heartaches we can too.

She went on the road to play clubs. This went on for years. She was abused as a child. She was raped as an adult. An operation cost her her singing voice. This caused her to have mental problems. So very sad. She was always on edge. I was told that her nervousness, and paranoia hurt her life, and career. She never lost her looks! She always had a big following. I’ve heard that she was always, ALWAYS, so nice and kind to everyone! This is unlike MOST celebs today!

Yes she has three evil spirits on her rejection singleness and depression and now that I think about it she probably had a generational curse on her passed down to her because her troubles started early

When I was a teenager in the 50s I just thought Connie Francis was my age. Maybe a little older but not much. I had no idea she was born in 1937. I was born in 45. I never knew any of this story about her life. Wow what history what she went through. I always enjoyed your music shed a real pure voice.

Another fine job on one's biography, Jerry. So many of us absolutely appreciate fully the work you put into these biographies. I always hear so much that I never knew about these famous people.

I remember her songs when I was still a child and enjoyed them. Then when I was older I saw her on a talk show or something and she sang God Bless America and she just blew me away. Her voice was powerful and rich! God bless you Miss Francis.

Thank you, once again, Jerry. You have such a talent for telling us about people, who they are, where they're from, and the interesting things they have accomplished. I love to listen to you as you narrate each video, and you do such a nice job of choosing the pictures to include in the videos, too. I am looking forward to your next video already! God bless you richly! 🖒🖒

Connie I was friends with one of your family members when I was little. We lived in Orange New Jersey. Her name was Joan Lunsman. I got to meet you there and told me that I looked just like Marilyn Monroe

Thank you, Jerry, for another top-rate biography, seared through w your compassion & knowledge. Would you ever consider letting your audience hear what the fuss is all about via excerpts of songs, plays, films, whatever? That would really spread the icing on the cake.

A beautiful woman with an amazing voice. What a heartbreaking life. I was also misdiagnosed, so I understand her. Psychiatry is not an exact science and very minimal progress has been made, it is still to this day in the dark ages. I wish the best for this amazing lady.
