You need to renew it every 2 yrs or it depends whatever visa you have. And most people their visa depends on their employer, and once you got kicked out of your job or lost your job, you need to fine another job quickly.

Giving a citizenship to someone is not easy, you have to make sure they adopt the lifestyle, culture, language, and traditions of the local people. For expats in Dubai, I don't think the vast majority of them are ready to adopt the Arabian lifestyle, nor are welling to be patriotic and work for the country, but rather will want to drag the locals to be like them. Plus (I don't think many people realize this) Arabs by nature are very generous and give a great hospitality, most of them don't have the materialistic mindset of the westerns and Asians, if these expats got citizenship, they will leave nothing to the locals, I think it's better for the local Arabs not to give citizenship to others except if they come from the same ethnicity or background, so they can guarantee not to lose everything to the huge number of materialistic new citizens. Many people view Arabs as irrogant or super wealthy people, were actually only few of them are, and the rest are simple humble people.
@shipwrech909
3 жыл бұрын
@@R0ll3Napper All immigrants must integrate into the society they migrated to, are you saying Arabs and Asians and others who live in the west did not do that? They have even gave their new generation western names and taught them western culture, there original culture is fading generation after generation. But this is not the case of the expats living in UAE, as they are not putting any effort into integrating to the Muslim Arab culture, and they show no well to do that. Plus what you say about Arab culture indicates that you know nothing about it except what you hear from social media, and you know nothing about the domestic workers... you talk about uneducated people who come from poor countries, what do you expect Arabs to do? Shower them with money for simple work they do?
@JustMyOpinion1010

Arabs don't have a materialistic outlook on life? Under which rock have you been living? Even though humility and a simple life is true for the previous generations and bedouin, it has died out with the current. From your other comments it is clear that your viewpoint is a little inaccurate

Not materialistic? Highly doubt that. The sheikh has over 100 cars.. The prince has a thing for tanks and gilded cars. Who knows how many jets they have... Several jumbojets with gold everywhere on the inside.. Nope no materialism to see here

I do not agree with "not giving them citizenship" I am a local Emirati and on my point of view if an individual is willing to work for a country and treat it as his own he should get the citizenship whether it is the UAE, GCC, EU or America. On the second point where you mention " Arabs are generous" well there is a saying in Arabic "If someone has lived with other culture, virtue and tradition for 40 days he has become one of them". In my personal point of view, also there is a saying in Arabic "every house has a toilet" it means that in each country there is a good and a bad person. I actually agree with the last point "not all Arabs are rich"
@tank-slushy4727

@@HM-ox4piI’m not Emirati but I find it odd how someone could have been born, raised and educated in the UAE, understand the language and culture, and yet have no change of obtaining citizenship. Sometimes I come across people (Indians, other Arabs etc.) who were born in the UAE and understand the language yet have no chance of obtaining citizenship. I’ve noticed it’s especially hard for children of Emirati mothers and foreign fathers.

Dubai is a nice city but the biggest con for me is the feeling that it is soulless. Old Dubai has a soul but in most cases that is not why people are in Dubai. Also it sometimes attracts a particular type of person that is overly impressed by money, glitz and glamour. In the UK it might appeal more to new money whereas old money might see it as ghastly. Nevertheless, soulless or not it is a good place for an escape holiday where you know it is fake but are happy with the service and relaxing holiday.

Apart from that, a usual meal in an expat area is about 6-10€, in Milan and London was more expensive; a kebab in Switxerland was 15€! I've been to Dubai several times and will be going back in a few weeks. First, the weather is not a big deal. It all depends on where you are coming from that you are comparing Dubai to? i live in Los Angeles, and in L.A. 9 months a year it's identical to the weather in Dubai, and in June or July in L.A. it even gets hotter Dubai, so it's all relative. Yes, I've spent many months in Ukraine over the last 20 years and it's not fair to compare Ukraine to Dubai period. Second, if your like me, you want to see new and beautiful cities like Dubai, not some run down place with homeless people everywhere, like Bangkok. Thailand. Next up, prices. I've looked at prices for a one bedroom apartment in the marina district and it's cheaper in Dubai by a lot verses L.A. and the food in the Marina mall was way less expensive then anyplace in California. If you want to buy a property in Dubai (I've already checked) and again it's cheaper then where I live. Mass transit in Dubai parallel's the freeways which is the greatest idea since sliced bread. Unlike L.A. where there is no mass transit to speak of, and L.A. without a car is impossible to get around to to it's size and population. So as you can see, it depends on what city you are comparing to Dubai that makes a difference, not just Dubai is this or that. I've traveled to more then 40 countries and every state in the U.S. and Dubai so far is more beautiful then any city I've traveled to, period full stop. Also, if you've never traveled to the states, then you have no idea how hard Americans work and how many hours a day they spend working. Unlike Ukraine, Americans on average work about 9 or 10 hours a day. I work sometimes 12 or 14 hours, so again, you are comparing Ukraine to Dubai and some other countries as well. In France they work 32 hours a week and they get 8 weeks for vacation a year. That is a joke. Most countries are not like that, so yeah, working in Dubai might be a little harder then Ukraine but you are not comparing two similar cities or countries. And for the record, I've traveled to Odessa, Crimea, Kharkov, Kyiv, Sumy, and Dnipro in Ukraine, so i am very versed with your country.

No in France official working time is 35 hours per week. But you can work more after 35h each additional hour is paid with a 25% bonus on the hourly rate. Moreover for the jobs like managers, there is no 35 hours per week but a maximum of working days by year. (With some rules like a minimum of 11 hours of rest between 2 working days, etc.) And the legal vacation is 5 paid vacation weeks per year. Of course some companies can give you more !

Damn nice man, Im planning on moving to dubai this year and I've never been but was considering dubai or london, and right now UK just seems very unstable and I'd rather go to somewhere warmer and make more money, then maybe travel europe after a year or so, how much money USD would you say you need in savings to move there comfortably on a mininum?

My first time here and I have a question please. You said that once you lost your job automatically you lose your Visa. .. The question I have for you is: Is it difficult to get a Visa as a self employed? And do you have any idea of the requirements of this type of Visa? Thanks

If you don't mind a question or two- what is your line of work? Do you work independently, or for a company? I have heard of exploitation happening there especially for poor men doing manual labor. Are you a single woman? Are men and women treated equally? Again, I have heard of women being imported from other countries to do disgusting sex work there. Is the country on an upswing economically there, or has the oil tapped out, with economic problems possibly ahead? Is the country planning ahead regarding generational wealth? And, last question- what about environmental issues? Are there regulations that are followed, or are there problems waiting to happen? I understand completely if you need to be aware of speech on youtube or in the interior of Dubai. It certainly does look very glamorous and interesting! Many thanks for your content :)

sorry , i did not find Dubai attractive and it is not friendly tourism. Worst customer service, a reserved society and people. Singapore is the best city and asia hub in terms of affordable transportation, hospitality, financial, medical, F&B , entertainment , safety & secure , strong currency. Although is an expensive but best shopping experience. An open circular country.

My fear is that in Dubai it is very hard to hook up with attractive women who are not hookers and/or have grossly inflated expectations due to all the money around. I bet it’s worse there than it is on the Côte d’Azur where basically most good looking single non-local woman is either a hooker or gold-digger.

Very honest vlog. I agree to everything. No sugarcoating. No bias of opinion. Yes, Dubai is beautiful and I came from a third world country in asia & worked few years in Dubai. It's a two way blade. Dubai is attractive to live in in terms of its infrastructure & services. But nature wise and long term plans, there's not much in it. I just wish every expat who live in Dubai will contribute something big to their home country like create more jobs & stability so less and less expats of next generation will have to go to another country or be born there and never call it home. My sis was born there and studied but never got to finish highschool and go to college there bcoz of increasing school fees. I hope everyone realize that the only true home we have is our motherland---our own country
