True we Rajasthani have more responsibility to save not only this bird but while ecosystem in Rajasthan. Which is under severe pressure due to mining, migration of people , infrastructure development. Loss of ethics and philosophy of local land. Let us hope we can save our static heritage but dynamic too.

Good initiative, Its good that they have International Hubara conservation center of Dubai to aide them. Main success will be when they are able to reproduce using reared chicks. Right now its just hatchery process. More importantly we need to provide them area free of wind mill and high tension wires. Those are on of the biggest killers beside predators

There migratory birds are reaching Sindh and Thar desert. But they are spotted by locals. The Sheiks pay them some money and hunt these birds with trained Falcons. The transmission lines and wind mill towers are also killing Hubaro Bustard.

How beautiful their nails are when they were hatching. Adorable precious things. Good luck. Save them, every specie is important. However Its a good strategy to keep a breeding pairs but 7 is still little small number perhaps 3 males and 12 females total of 15 would be a good number, just in my opinion.
