I just love the cardboard models held by retort stands. Great docco lets hope it gets into the National Film Archives to be totally restored

Pretty amazing history. I often take the Pacific Motorway and don't give a thought to how it was built. This is a real insight to road engineering.

Quite interesting actually, roads and bridges aren't something I think about but appreciate. I was surprised at some of the technology back then, though health and safety was very different to today! Cheers for sharing Tone.

Yeah I was a little bit surprised myself! It’s very similar to today just a little bit dated

Exellent doco mate, all we need now is the NorthConnex to be toll free for Heavy Vehicle`s.

The only section of stage 3 the interchange at mount white should never been built since it was never used at all.

The original plan was for a big Mt White Interchange with the F3 and Peats Ridge Road to extend into a Freeway until Singleton and the original F3 to be aligned in a different route. However plans were changed following a few disputes.
