When I apply the effect, video turns black, I did the nested sequence with the amount of frames and still black

Yes and it runs locally on your workstation so no need to worry about uploading any data and the privacy concerns.

would you say this is a good method of adding more fps to a piece of footage , so 25fps to 50fps- by slowing it down 50% then bringing that back in to play at the new framerate?

That's an interesting point. Yes it should work in that way too if you interpret the new footage at 50fps.

@@BorisFXco testing this now, can you plugin different models? seems to be no option to do so in drop down? trying on CG renders with camera swoops, but getting texture blurs glitches and sudden camera morphs, but Cg has motion blur, so re-rendering to test and at 30 fps to try into 50fps
