Thank you. Just unboxed an ION audio TTUSB10 my grandfather gave to me to record some records for him. Took me a while to setup since all the instructions were so old.

I have a Sony USB turntable. My SoundForge 9 software worked well with Windows 10, but not Windows 11. Should I get Audacity? Freeware or paid?

Quick question, how do i get "true" stereo rip from vinyl through audacity? Even though i've checked "2 stereo channels" on the recording options etc & have the signal coming from a stereo output of my outboard mixer, the end result is always mono. My mixer IS going through a USB converter into the microphone channel on my laptop, because it's one of those laptops that doesn't let you record through the Mic input properly. Any info would be highly appreciated. Many thanks & good luck with your channel.

Did you check the audio input on the pc to see if it’s recording in Stereo?

I have the latest download of this and it is very frustrating that the menus and functions of my version seems to be very different from any of the ones on the tutorials, can someone please do an update using the new vesion.

I’m looking for a way to convert vinyl into mp3 to use on my pioneer DJ decks. Does 12 inch vinyl fit this turntable?

The worst mistake is transfer to mp3, you should keep it: wav 24 bits 192khz but never ever in mp333

And also you need an audio interface that truly provides 192khz 24bits audio

Sorry, but I completely disagree. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the MP3 format. WAV, FLAC and other Lossless file formats take up too much space on HDD’s for my taste. I only recently (and highly reluctantly) started using 320kbps and can’t tell any noticeable difference between 320 and 128kbps myself.

Mp3???? Useless format. FLAC the way to go.

- Just an FYI, you can go to the lower right icon on the video (gear looking item) which is a setting for the video. Here you have a playback speed. You can increase or decrease the speed of the video. The default playback speed is indicated as NORMAL . If you chose 0.75 speed, it slows down the video so it is easy to hear and still makes sense. This option is very helpful to someone like myself with a dead ear nerve (no sound in my left ear). You also have an option speed of 1.25 where sometimes the video is still legible but dragging in interest. - " Audio is sound within the acoustic range available to humans, which is a wonderful thing "
