Someone commented this on another reaction to this song a while ago and it really gives this song more meaning. 0:00-1:31 The almost empty universe 1:31-2:20 The Big Bang 2:20-4:06 The constant yet instability formation of stars and exo planets 4:06-4:40 The formation of the Milky way. A place utterly insignificant and almost unregarded among the other millions 4:40-5:20 Earth formed and a part of us slips away forming the moon, which gravitates towards Earth. Forever then. 5:20-6:10 Our planet Earth revolving around it's axis, cooling down... 6:10-6:56 Water showering over Earth and the so thought Art begins 6:56-7:26 Evolution takes place from the first anaerobic heterotrophic bacteria to the hominids 7:26-11:45 Humans. The wannabe supreme beings reigns over. ( I sincerely do not know if this was a pretty neat idea) Till then, bask in with the final words of My Tyson. 11:45-15:40 ... "Until the rise of a new visionary culture, the cosmic perspective; a perspective in which we are one, fitting neither of the above nor below, but within."

That's actually how it was written, if you see their interviews about the album. They wanted the "Pale Blue Dot" speech by Carl Sagan, but couldn't get it, so they asked Neil deGrasse Tyson to appear and that's a wholly original little speech for the song

I've been waititng for this one!!! Also the guy doing the monologue at the end is the one and only Neil Degrasse Tyson and the song isn't saying we should just move, it means we can't progress until we put aside our petty human differences because none of our issues matter in the grand scheme of the universe

Initially they said M. Shadow's wanted the whole song to be just instrumental with no vocals, but the rest of the guy's wanted him to sing and have some lyrics. That's why just a couple minutes of vocal . They said when the asked Neil Degrassi Tyson if he wanted to contribute after they told him what the song was about, they said he said most definitely. Just another example of the extreme talent this band has. They never seize to amaze me.

This is one of my fav A7X songs and not many react to it because of those 15 minutes. So I loved your reaction thanks a lot. One thing I don't like so much is how people missing the insane drums at the end of the song during the speech. I think thats my fav part of the song tho. Greetings from Chile

The idea of the song is about the history of existence. That quiet part at the beginning is supposed to be "before the big bang" and the lyrical part is basically the start of humanity.

This song is their interpretation of the big bang but they felt that something was missing at the end of the song so they invited Neil DeGrasse Tyson to give a speech and he accepted the invitation and wrote the speech that was put as the cherry of the top at the end of the song.

I love your videos but, I wish you guys would play the videos you’re reacting to all the way through and then give your thoughts at the end. You won’t get the proper vibe and meaning of the song if you pause the song periodically. Maybe it’s just me lol I’m a person that would take it all in before reacting or saying anything and if I feel I didn’t appreciate it well enough, I’m going to play it again. I’m also a person that doesn’t like to be talked to while listening to music because to me it just messes up the whole mood
