Ta maman a l'air suuuuupper jeune! So insane!!!

This video is a language nerd’s dream, why? Because of all the languages intertwining and I love it! As someone learning French, it was wonderful to hear both you and your mom speak. The speed at which you both spoke French, gives me something to aspire to. It is really interesting that you speak Cantonese with your Dad, French with your Mom and everyone speaks English! I enjoyed hearing your dad speak Cantonese as well. It’s also very nice to see how close you are with your parents and how communication is so very important within a family and is sometimes the key to solving problems. Continued joy and success to you and family.

They speak québécois French which is faster than metro Parisian accent. To sound more authentic, I’d work on argots and verlan. It’s very common in Quebec to find immigrant families speaking three languages…French, English, and their native tongue.

1. I LOVE your relationship with your parents and how open you all are. I don't have a relationship with my mother and just rekindled my relationship with my father a few years ago after he left when I was a child (I'm currently in my late 20's). 2. I also live alone and currently have a lot of hard things that I'm going through. I find it easy to become anxious about the unknown. But in these moments I embrace how I feel and remind myself that I continue to come through things that once made me very anxious. 3. I love your videos, your openness, your cooking and that you push yourself to step out of your comfort zone! I'm trying to do that more myself and your videos help encourage me to keep doing so. Keep taking next steps, you're doing great! 😊

I sometimes see myself in your videos especially as an introvert. I can totally relate as to how you tend to connect individually with your friends in the circle. This has been one of my issues, when my friends around that circle just decided to grab some drink, I have this social anxiety and I usually felt out of place and most of the time I was just smiling in the corner. I had also been called out because of that, someone told me why I wasn’t contributing to the conversation. And same thing as you said, I just don’t want to ruin the mood or conversation. But after that night, I felt more depressed and pretty much blamed myself. I wish I had more confidence or courage when in a group of people. But it’s nice to see that I wasn’t the only one whose in that kind of situation and to see you trying means I can also do it myself.

I really appreciated this video. As someone who doesn't have the best relationship with their parents and struggles to open about emotions with them, it was really interesting to see a parent's perspective on the topic and how they see things. Aw, your parents are so adorable. Love the open relationship that you have with your parents. My parents have passed away (mom about 10 years ago and my dad this February.) In retrospect, I would have loved to have had an open relationship like the one you have with your parents. But, I love the fact that the open and supportive relationship that I have with my siblings makes up for it, to a certain extent. Love that you're going out there and experiencing new things. Hope you get well and stay safe. 🥰

I love the relationship you have with your parents. Its great that you can all be so open to one another~ What your dad brought up about how it was difficult for parents to reveal their own insecurities to their children reminded me that my parents are just as human as I am. The title of being a parent carries such a heavy responsibility, we often forget that our parents were our age too. They have their own struggles too. I hope I can have more fruitful conversations with my parents moving forward just like your family (-:

“Your insecurities could become your greatest strengths.” This quote at the very end really hit me but I don’t know why yet. I’m so excited to hear that you went to an event that some people only dream of being able to go & you got to see your lovely parents too. I was super duper close with my late father and I miss him so much. He was truly the best friend I’ve ever had. The close relationship that you have with your parents reminds me of how close my Daddy and I truly were. I’m so blessed to have experienced having such a beautiful soul as a parent. I’m very happy to see that you have beautiful supportive & loving parents. 💕 I adore them! 🥰🥰 It was a pleasure meeting them and good to see you again. Please take care of your health. Liked and enjoyed the Vlog. Good to see you enjoying time with your family and be able to be open with them and speaking from your heart. I deal with stressful moments by praying and staying focused as best as I can. Taking long walks help or working out for me. Take care and have a blessed week.

A lot of artists from all over the world come to LA for opportunity. The competition is extremely KEEN.
