Love your "haul" videos! Super! Anna, we left our enormous, 100 year old house a year ago and downsized to a tiny, place in central OH near our daughter. I donated all recipe books except those that I turn to most frequently and a couple ANCIENT treasure ones (I have my grandpa's 1918 WW 1 cookbook issued by the U.S. Army). Point is, we DOWNSIZED a bunch! Now, you have me jazzed about "getting" stuff all over again!😅 I'm trying to fulfill those urges vicariously through you, so you GO GIRL! Thanks for all your time in gathering and presenting.

I always thought he was a handsome guy and a good actor. I just watched a video on him here on you tube and am impressed about his life in general, I had no idea. I can remember seeing him on TV back in the day in some black and white oldies and especially the very colorful (lol) "Masque of the Red Death." I remember he could be hilarious on talk shows also. He was an educated and classy guy. There's even a Vincent Price art museum in Los Angeles.

I have the set of pyrex bowls. They were my grandmas, I display and use them all the time ( carefully lol) I love them so much. I'm 56, now, she passed away when I was 24. I'm not sure if she bought them new or at a garage sale. She was a garage sale queen. I've priced them in antique stores out of curiosity and your right, they are very expensive. I've seen just the yellow bowl priced anywhere from $25-$35 alone. And the set sometimes around $75+ Mine are in great condition.

I inherited my Mom's primary color bowl set and baking dishes which she got at her bridal shower in 1951. The colors on the baking bowls are pristine (Mom wasn't a big baker) and the baking dishes show their 70 yrs of service with the big yellow and medium size blue both missing their lids, but that's what aluminum foil is for, right? 😉

Oh my goodness! I recently mentioned the New Pillsbury Family Cookbook (timestamp 2:39) to you a few days ago on another video of yours! You said you had not seen it, but here it is on this video as an ad! I learned to cook with this book as a young bride in 1974. It's a loose leaf hard cover book that is easy to use and you can add your own 4-holed pages to. As a fledgling cook I'd take whatever I had, like a pound of hamburger, and go to the Meats ground beef section and pick a recipe based on the ingredients I had on hand. They were easy recipes and most all were really good. Mine is falling apart from use and abuse. Hope you find one 'in the wild'. You'll love the photos too! ❤

I have those same three Butterfly Gold bowls! I think I bought them as a set in a small antique shop in Ohio. It was a good price, but not as good as yours! I've heard as well that there's a fourth larger bowl, but I've never seen one. Butterfly Gold is the pattern I collect the most, though I do pick up other odds and ends of things when I spy them cheaply at the thrift store. You really have been finding some great things! Gooooooood price on those Pyrex pixies. They look like the Horizon Blue, prob early 70’s. Some neutral oil will shine up your primary red DWD bowl.
