Few tips to make ur garlic oil golden brown and not burned:
1. Make the chopped garlic dices as similar size as possible, 2. Add in the garlic to cold oil, 3. Use medium heat, 4. Keep stirring the garlic to prevent stick to bottom of the wok, 5. Remove the garlic oil from stove when about 80% turning brownish, as it will continue cooking in the heated oil.
