You did a very good job with that brisket brother! Next cook try and put the deflector backwards that way you will have kore space between it and the grades.

Looks like a great cook. I'm glad you went with more than just salt and pepper. Garlic makes such an impact on beef. Keep them coming!

cooked a 9lb brisket this past weekend using your method, it turned out amazing, great crust, and so tender and juicy inside! Thanks for the great instructions, and the cherry wood was a game changer!

@@GregRocheleau have you ever done pizza on your grill? I do it a few times a summer but can never seem to keep the heat between 450-500 where it cooks the bottom and melts the cheese.

@@billykuhn8945 it is on my list of future cooks. I have been doing pizza in a cast iron pan on my pellet grill but I have not done on the Kamado yet. I will do a pizza video soon.

How much charcoal did you need?

I fill the bowl about 1/2 full. This video is a couple years ago. I have improved my game since then. If you are interested check out this video kzitem.info/news/bejne/sJWirZaPnJWJi3Ysi=FPrJGYhfKlTQkVTB. I think I did a better job of explaining my charcoal set up on the Kamado.

You just keep knocking them out of the park Greg. How bout a plank salmon. Think you could get the temp low enough ?
