Kibbeh, a form of the Arabic word kubbah or "ball," is a staple in Middle Eastern cuisine. Kibbeh Sanieh is pan baked, diamond or square cut seasoned meatloaf. It is one form of a family of dishes based on spiced ground meat (lamb or beef), onions, and grain, popular in Middle Eastern cuisine. In Levantine cuisine, kibbeh is usually made by mixing bulgur wheat together with ground meat into a fine paste. Kibbeh Nayeh is served raw like Steak Tartare. Cooked Kibbee is usually either fried as Kibbeh Balls or baked Kibbee Sanieh.
