Interesting how the 2 and 8 are important in bluff catching the river. I would have thought these only block the pretty rare 22xx and very rare 88xx/85xx combos. A couple other quick patterns not explicitly stated in the video are that having NFD/NFB is particularly bad for calling down. Also, unblocking turned straight draws seems to help.

Very interesting,i wouldve folded easy on turn,so wrong again;-) But for small stakes i think it better to overfold as the pop is underbluffing,if they are bluffing turns they will have a ton of outs anyway(so not exactly a true bluff) and as said there are too many dodgy river cards.Even in this GTO play the profit from bluffcatching is extremely small even with all the exact conditions.

Hi Luuk, in our C-BET STRATEGY for Pot Limit Omaha video, AKT9 is a xf on T75 board and here AKT4 is a xc on T52 board, just curious about what is the different and why is that our actions are totally different?

AKT4 has a Gutshot on T52 so there a a little more playability for the xc on turn and river. Backdoor flushdraws also matter. Also T75 may connect more with the bettors range as they can have many wraps, more 2p which will make it difficult for hero to realise his equity on T75 on later streets. T52 is a lot more dry and less draws that the bettor can have allowing the xcaller to realise their equity more often.

1. on the river the mdf is 54% if he bets 85% pot. The solver is calling 43%. That means that the solver is overfolding. We can exploit this by overbluffing the river in this spot against people that play gto? I thought gto was balanced? why the solver isn't calling the mdf than? 2. Also our opponent is suppose to bluf more if he doesn't have the fdraw so if we have the fdraw we block our opponent from having the fdraw so our opponent will bluff more, so shouldn't we not call more if we have the fdraw instead of folding more?

1. That is definitely interesting i agree! Good point. I suppose the solver is overfolding here as the ranges are different from each other on the river that we cannot find enough calls vs a strong range. Our opponent is so much ahead at this point after barreling 3 times holding a large equity and polarity advantage that we cannot find more continues than the ones shown. 2. Our opponent is bluffing quite aggresively still with a missed FD here. Anything weaker than 8x is mainly barreling again, even though he is blocking the FD himself. But he has too, as he has a lot of value and many of his semi-bluffs have spades without SDV. If he doesnt have spades he will bluff those combos more true, but he also has less of these in his range.

1. As Luuk mentions, MDF can lead you astray when ranges are very asymmetrical. When one range has a large polarity advantage, it would be foolish to defend at MDF frequency with a weak range.

I used the same sizings as in the actual hand. Its very much possible the solver prefers potting over this sizing yes if you would give it that option
