Did a 65 mustang fastback coyote swap with the h pipe and ran at 180 to 190deg all summer long. Just completed a 64 c10 with a l84 gen v motor and the engine kept going to 230 deg. Today just turned on the heat full blast and the temp stayed at 205 deg, suddenly thought about the h pipe on the coyote, duh! Will be getting one for this swap. Thanks for the info

Why not just use a factory degas tank ?

When keeps it cleaner no degass tank and keeps most swap radiators simple with only an over flow tank and 2 connections between the radiator and engine

@@RNG_Anarchist I like the look of a small aluminum degas tank beside my matching over flow

Also, I read… (When NOT running a Heater) To allow purging air from the right-hand cylinder head as well as provide sufficient coolant flow through that head when not running a heater, the heater supply and return hoses must be spliced together, and a 5/16-inch-diameter restrictor needs to be inserted into the hose assembly.
