What amazing campsites! I've never seen a campsite built out on a deck over the water! Joann, I also food prep as much as possible at home and put it into easy to pack containers, then freeze. This makes mealtime while camping so much easier! I love how you got the whole meal in one frying pan. Sometimes Chris and I use two of our 6" cast iron pans to cook our meal and then we eat it right out of the pans ... It stays so hot right to the last bite that way! The toast turned out perfect! What a nice addition to the Camp-EZ kitchen! I chuckled over your "there goes the neighborhood" comment, Michael... I'll have to remember that line when I'm frustrated with really noisy neighbors - and try to make myself laugh instead. As always, thank you for sharing your adventures! God bless you both! ~ Maria

I was a Boy Scout Cooking Merit Badge counselor for a while - and advisor. My main story was called, "The Ballad of Russell Davis" which was about my experience as a Tenderfoot and a friend that had ambitious cooking plans. ( He eventually joined the Navy and became a Master Chief Mess Management Specialist ) Anyway - I always emphasized doing PREP AT HOME and cleaning-up afterward. If you prep at home - the cleaning is easier, too.

If your wife is cooking like this camping... dang, invite me over for Thanksgiving! lol The chemistry and love with you and your wife is a gift from God!!! You two are sweet. Great video and love the camper. Love the tips, too! We used a pop up years ago and made some great memories but set up and tear down too was way too long. I actually have a 23ft travel trailer with a full kitchen, bathroom, dinette, couch, etc (you’ll see it in tomorrow’s episode), but to be honest, I like my teardrop better. Admittedly, it stinks getting up in the middle of the night to go pee, but I absolutely love my teardrop. I plan to keep using both, but if I had to choose, I’d say goodbye to my 23ft trailer! I’m in the middle of a cargo trailer conversion that will be a happy medium, but I still plan to keep the teardrop. If it really comes down to available amenities, I’ll just stay home. I have everything I could want there, even a pool! Lol! I want camping to still feel like camping.
