Got these in 37s on my Dodge 2500, because the oil field puts you off road pretty often. Currently have like 25k miles on them and still have over half tread left. Can honestly say that I have never really liked a tire more. They ride great on/off road, pull very good when you need to, and never had any issue with well over the load rating of these tires. Can't recommend enough.

ive heard they actually aren't that loud either looking to replace my firestone destination 2 MT/A that came stock with my Willys JLU they were great offroad (only 32.6 inches) but i want to go to a 35 and keep with the same performance. Only reason i didn't want to stay with the firestone is i felt that they wore weird and they have gotten loud and rumbly. I was thinking with going with either these or the patagonia's. while i like that the MS Pats are quiet ive heard that they haveto be at the perfect psi or they wear out weird as well not to mention when i go offroading every weekend of the summer and fall it's a lot of mud here in New England. The firestones are great in the snow and mud and i from what i have read the MS PAT aren't the best in the mud. Well that simply won't do. I read the same as you that these are a great mud tire but i also heard they aren't that loud and they wear nicely. Definitely a little pricey but hey like you said it's only money lol i wonder how your doing with these 10 months later...

I own the same brand tires size 315/75/16 and I love them . I was looking into buying a Gladiator and then I saw as you explained that you cannot disengage traction control in 4x4 LOW ? Why ? Most rigs will do that on their own once you put it in 4x4 low
@MudPuppyOffroad
3 жыл бұрын
Most trucks indicate 4low has no traction control but it is still there just dialed back a little. The Jeeps have a lot of rpm limits and torque management in low range as well as brake LSD, if you select manual mode it gets rid of most of it though. Wish it had an atrac button like Toyotas

Not a know it all, but if you go into it initially with wheel spin the tires will eject the mud and continues giving you more grip. I know that from experience in this Oklahoma red clay. If you don’t spin the tires the wheels get clogged and turn into slicks.

I'm very aware but one thing I like to test is how well tires clean out at low wheel speed because you can't always afford to have a lot of wheel speed.no need to pull the traction control fuse you just have to put it in low range and the transmission in manual mode.
