Hi, the project is great. However, I've been struggling with a problem related to the robots movement. They don't move during the training. I downloaded all the requirements in the first file .txt. Altough this they don't move. Probably i forgot something.

Hi Francesco Levantino! Thanks for watching my video! Have you installed ros-humble-ros2-control, ros-humble-ros2-controllers, ros-humble-gazebo-pkgs and ros-humble-gazebo-ros2-cotrol?

Hi, i liked your video and explanations ! I'm on a similar problem : I have a robot and i'd like to make it find an objective on the map without the robot knowing in advance where it is. The robot has multiple rays to see the distance to objects but the rays hjave a limited length so the robot cannot see too far away. So I aim to make the robot explore the map in order to find the objective by itself. I've tried rewarding it if exploration has been made in a new step but the program doesnt work. I think i'm missing something, either some data that the robot has to have or a reward that i'm not giving. Do you have an idea of how i should do this ?

Hi Dimitri! Thanks for watching my video! Assuming that there is only an object you have to find on the map, you may try to give the robot a small negative reward if length of all rays remains the same (which means the robot didn’t find any object during time step). Reward shaping always involves some amount of try and guess.

Hey, instead of using pytorch to develop our algorithms can we use already existing libraries like PettingZoo and Stable-Baselines3 to train the agents?

Hi Pepper Fry! Thanks for watching my video! Yes, you can use these libraries to train agents. But these libraries are made to work with gymnasium(gym) environment. So, you have to do several modifications to ROS2 code to use PettingZoo or Stable-Baselines with it.

@@robotmania8896 Any other packages that are available and are compatible with ROS2 like ROS2learn or open_ai_ros package?

It seems to me that both of these packages are not maintained anymore. I personally prefer to use scripts that are not related to any library.
