Looks really good! I had a 2004 F-250 with the 6.0 diesel (the one many say is "no good") and kept it for 98,000 miles, with no out of warranty repair. One new turbo, and a couple of injectors, plus something to do with the EGR, all on Ford's dollar. Same truck, although mine was a crew cab and an XLT with lots of toys. Bought it new, to tow a 32' fifth wheel RV. Talking to other owners, I found that the 6.0 was a nice, dependable engine if you didn't try to chip it and otherwise try to squeeze more power out of it.. Traded it off on a new F-250, but with the extended cab and 6.6' bed, as we went to a Motor Home.

hey. The windshield being destroyed by the airbag is a GOOD THING. the windshield is what absorbs excess energy from the airbag deploying, then redirects it towards the passenger. The other scenario is that the windshield was not installed correctly and the airbag, literally shoots the windshield off the car...

The Ford 6.0 diesel cost aprox $10k per year to maintain and operate. I was sooo happy when mine burned to the ground. Stay FAR away from it unless you are planning to "bullet proof" it, which cost 10K+. The new coolant bottle tells you the head bolts are stretching, putting pressure on the cooling system. Looks like a new radiator also. that explains the nice looking trans fluid. Ford has a class action suit against them over that engine. They knew the problems and still put them out without fixing. RUN!

Auto manufacturers don't care how much it cost to replace an entire dashboard over a passenger airbag being blown, that's for insurance companies to worry about. And you would think that the insurance companies would have demanded the auto manufacturers to stop making passenger side airbags to be intergrated into the dashboard to save on repair cost, but nope. instead the insurance companies will pass that cost onto you in the form of increasing their rates.

The 4.6 is great, but with a full sized van to push around that’s a lot to ask of it. Almost 250,000 miles and 21 years and it will never be going to the junkyard. But it’s at its limit towing a car back home.

@@tysonb8328 6.0L are junk... they are Not the same engines the 7.3L were.... there will never be another engine like the 7.3L powerstroke.... thank you EPA... if you really have read my Comments then you would know the company I once worked for had many 7.3L powerstroke over 1.5 million miles still going strong. As soon as Ford brought out the 2004 6.0L powerstroke the shitiness of that engine was quite obvious. To go from 1.5 million miles to 250,000 and engines were crap doing the same running there was a problem... and they weren't being abused
