Poor old Duster ..... You have to rescue her . That Blue is a stunning color . I recently picked up one here in the UK.... After looking for one for about 10 yrs after loosing my grandpa he had one when I was young and loved it . I loved it too . He had the slant 6 I think from what he said. It was a good car though. Mine has a V8 . And just needs repaint but really you could leave it and drive as is . The guy I got it from a certified mech. Did a ground up rebuild 4 years ago . I had it checked all over . Couldn't believe how good it was so now it's home with me and I've been driving it. Here in the UK we don't have alot of older Mopar so the looks it gets are awesome.

Okay so here is a story from my side of View. Every August 10th in Hannibal Missouri they have a throwback cruise and this year we lost a 1965 Chevy truck to a fire under the hood. R i p to that truck it was a restored truck. There should have been no reason why it caught fire. Now it's got to be restored a second time

At 180,000 miles I'd lay odds that E350 has had a rebuilt or replacement engine. Early versions of that engine seem to have massive problems with the variable valve timing set up and the original units generally don't seem to get close to that sort of mileage before throwing their toys out of the pram so for this one to run so well at that mileage you've got to think it's had big work done. It could well be worth picking up as a parts car if it's cheap enough as having a spare, good running E350 lump has got to be a good thing for those into Mercs. Overall, it looks like it's got too many issues to be really worth doing anything with, other than parting out, as, at the end of the day, it's a 180,000 mile petrol/gasoline E-Class, so it really doesn't have much value anyway...

Only had to replace camshaft sensor, a couple upper intakes, and the primary fuel pump. car was legendary.

Hey Randy I need your opinion , do you think it was a good deal of me getting a C6 Corvette about 15 years old what the guy told me , he said it has a bad transmission , but everything else on it is in good shape and he sold it to me for $3,000 his asking price was $4800 ? And has 200,004 miles on it . I checked it out look under the hood did a car report on it and it seems like he did a pretty good job keeping it in good condition . He said he was trying to get rid of it because his family is getting bigger and he needs to get a bigger vehicle .

Judging by how bent the chassis/frame was on that F250 Super Duty, I wouldn't trust that any of the transmission is any good. That's plenty enough damage to the frame for the transmission casings to have been cracked, and I wouldn't even be confident that the back axle is straight. I think that one is too far gone to be worth the risk, unless you know what all the measurements should be for those parts and can check them out...

the 2.7 is a powerfull motor. ive had big motors all my life. i had an 02 dodge intrepid w the 2.7 L v6. my old 1996 chevy 350 one ton 3500 v8 5.7 Tow truck was only pushing 190hp and a painfully low amount of torque.. But after 300k it was toast. and ive moved buses and 8000lb suburban 2500s and f550s but i swaped in a 2.7L pushing 203hp and a bit more torque and it was much more refreshing to move vehicles.

i put a performance exhaust. X pipes. headers. high flow cats. performance intake manifold. Stage 3 cam. Ported and polished valves, wide diameter throttle body, Over sized injectors, Cold air intake, bully dog tuner, Gold 250$ Spark plugs and few other things and now im pushing 332 hp on the dyno. Which is significantly more than any first gen Hemi in 2003-2007 rams durangos and Chargers. shes a chuggin.
