Copper does a stand stay for Dr Kristin Heiden, while she performs a fear-free rear leg blood draw. He is panting hard because he has laryngeal paralysis and he's hot. He is a bit stressed, but he's happily taking treats from me (off screen) and maintains a gentle mouth, indicating that he's not THAT stressed. Yes, I know that I'm harping 'Stay' at him 100 times, but that's because I've let our obedience training slide badly and he REALLY wants the treats that are off screen.
A rear-leg blood draw works very well for Copper. He has a lot of fear due to forced handling at a prior vet office. Neck and front leg draws are quite overwhelming for him specifically. Until I saw Laura M-T's amazing husbandry videos I didn't even know that rear leg draws were even an option.
So here's the unedited mess of a video.
