I swear you work faster with the copper than you do with wood! It’s coming along very nicely. Can’t wait to hear it.

It was fun watching you be a bit nervous for a change! This copper tele as a semi hollow is such a cool idea!

Definitely test before you do the final machining. They make a metal hole drilling guide to take your hole alignment game up a notch on the back of your tele. The one i have has both spacings.

I'm thinking step drill but you probably would have used one if you had it. Looks wonderful. Gonna be amazing!

Been trying to figure out why this seems questionable in my head. Then I figured it out. Bonding metal to wood with wood glue. Seems a high probability that the water based glue will accelerate oxidation of the copper and break the bond pretty quickly given the amount of vibration a guitar produces. I hope I am wrong because this is cool AF and it looks gorgeous.

Gorilla says on their site this glue of theirs is perfect for the job. That's why I'm using it. I wouldn't use it for wood on its own lol.

@@nsjguitarsakascotsman6989 hahah Thats the only glue I have used so far. The last time I got a drop on some wood I didnt mean to glue the wood gave way before the glue even thought of letting go. I will raise my level of trust if you used Gorilla for sure, but still am a little skeptical over longevity.

Only if something was really broken, it's no different from grounding the bridge. The body will just be grounded like the bridge.
