This is the first sermon I've watched of his and I have never seen so many wicked comments posted on a video of a sermon. Please don't tell me you are a Christian if you are making these comments. What are you even doing watching them if you don't believe? Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't true. Conviction is what this nation needs! This is the reason we are in this whole mess! This nation and political leaders has turned its back on Christ! HE DIED FOR OUR SINS!

Dr. D James Kennedy was one of the greatest preacher of his time. The only other Presbyterian minister I know of that can even compare to him is Dr. R.C. Sproul and Dr. Timothy Keller. May Dr. Kennedy rest in peace as he is with God in all of His Glory! Amen.

I can’t imagine how heart broken this wonder soldier of the faith and American patriot would feel seeing how much farther America has fallen. I honestly believe God called James home. Heart attack or heart ache? God probably spared this man from deep deep sorrow. WELL DONE OH FAITHFUL SERVANT. I cry still missing his passion. Same goes to Billy Graham, Adrian Rodgers. John Whitehead. David Wilkerson. There were more. Pastors are afraid to speak and preach like this today. Probably the one who stands on top today is Michael Yusuf . Come Lord Jesus

@murfleblurg Right is right weather you like it or not, May God bless you and show you the truth. Almost every sermon he made was like this. It is wrong to take what is not yours. There is a need for government, but it's administrators should be voluntary and not a life time endeavor to make a living and lust after power. May God Bless you and your family.

I disagree. It seems that if one does not adhere to YOUR particular brand of Christianity, they are automatically wrong, condemned to hell, and unfit for service in the church or as a part of society. You have incorrectly judged the many sincere Christians in the PCUSA, and this denomination which does excellent mission work that actually helps people, as opposed to simply ranting about right-wing nonsense. Think about it.

While I disagreed with Reverend James Kennedy on many political issues, it was his right to say what he wanted to say. I also have my right to interpret what I interpreted. That Sermon was political. The USA was founded by Christians desiring religious liberty, Atheists, Jews, pagans, Muslims are just entitled to the same freedom; and I am a Christian by the way. Thank God for the American Civil Liberties Union which is the greatest advocate of "freedom of (as well as freedom from) religion."

1) All Christian sermons are political. Christianity's very confession-"Christ is Lord"-is a political assertion. 2) There is absolutely no such thing as freedom "of" or "from" religion. Religion is a necessary and inherent fact of human life, society, and law. Those advocating "freedom of/from religion" are simply striving to replace one religion with another-their own. The question is not "whether" we will have a religion, but "which" religion we will have.

Green Labour you are politically ignorant and historically ignorant. You have the right to face Christ and risk your eternal salvation. You can’t possibly be a Christian , a believer in Christ. In fact I m bewildered that you would even be watching a giant like this man is. He would never say that. I’m saying that. And you are , and I say this kindly, that you would read Gods word concerning the last days. And discern the social description compared to the warnings of this man and where we stand today. God said in the last days that people will abandon the faith and that they (us) will no longer put up with sound doctrine. His warnings were alarming then. Consider how DJ Kennedy would feel if he were still alive? God spared him the heartache with a heart attack. This is a man who passionately weeped for this great country along with the eternal conditions of our souls including yours and mine. Ignorance is rampant today in America. Our young folks if asked on the street about civil war,. ( any war for that matter) The constitution and its amendments, What a bill is, branches of government, who the first president was? Who Lincoln was, what the Declaration of Independence is. Or even what socialism is. There all educated from cnn , the spew. I mean the view, and social libtards in general. Wide and broad is the road that leads to destruction and there be many that enter into it. Narrow is the path that leads to eternal life, and there be few that find it. Let’s quit kidding each other. The left leaning liberal agenda today is to stifle free speech, label Christians as entitled homophobic, islamiphobic racist white Nazis who preach hate. While they lock arms with Muslims who when obtainable will eventually tie in their religious sharia law in place of our laws rewrite our constitution etc. where they will implement punishment. The first to go will be the feminist and the lgbt because it is death where they are from and it will be here. The only thing stopping them is our Judaism/Christian laws that protect their freedom to worship whom they please and act how they want as long as you obey our laws that protect all citizens with liberty and freedom. America will only fall from within. People that want to dictate and power this land by force are on the sidelines egging us on like a jumper on the edge and they’re yelling jump . But consider this most Americans would rather die than let someone come into our homes and tell us how to live. Christians are the givers the builders the lovers of people’s souls. I weep on my knees seeing and hearing lies about Christ. He’s coming back as Judge. Head up to Minnesota or Wisconsin and enter a dominant Muslim community and see if they treat you like a free person in the United States. Then comeback and tell as. Better yet go in there with a lgbt flag and a camera. Go to a Islamic bakery and have a same sex wedding cake made. Come back and tell us about it. Take a trip to Venezuela and tell us how wonderful socialism is

lol, this isn't a sermon, it's just right-wing think tank ideology, dressed up in funny clothes, and using religion to sell a political message. Overlaying "My talk radio political ideas" with "What God thinks" is pretty sleazy.

It's hard to believe that someone so passionate about evangelism would preach sermons like this. This seems so off-center, to preach a message about socialism and government programs he disagrees with, instead of centering on the gospel and the word of God.

I am far from being a socialist, having very strong almost libertarian positions myself. I just cringe a bit when people use the pulpit to push a political agenda. Perhaps I would be ok with starting from scripture and making an application to government, but I have a problem with starting at government and pecking around to find some scripture that sorta, kinda, barely has to do with the topic. There was much more quoting and exegeting politicians than scripture in this homily.

This isn't a sermon, it's cliche ridden, half baked, ill informed ranting and raving as are all his other sermons. I wish this "pastor" had lived long enough to see Obama elected President. That would really have ruined his day which could only be a good thing. As for "presbyterian", this church is as about as presbyterian as the Vatican. Ostentatious, extravagant, eleborate music, political sermons....that's not presbyterianism.
