Well, they are just kids. She was bold and had leadership qualities. Plus she was pretty good with a weapon. The careers were gone so she was kinda the best to team up with. So perhaps a teen bully placed in a kill-or-be-killed situation? Teams are also very valuable in this situation. Her confidence probably would’ve persuaded me too. I feel like it’s fitting that she doesn’t give off alpha killer vibes because she is just a kid. It makes sense in her final moments that the facade she had vanished. She was just a confrontational, angry, rough girl trying to survive and get back home.
