Coltallic agree 100%. I really admire Rob. Musicaly and as a person. He's so humble man, always talking from the heart. Love the dude, and love that in this new álbum, not only the bass sounds terrific and LOUD, but he helped making the AMAZING Manunkind and Lord of summer. Love that Lars and James are giving him more credit

In one sense you are right, in another no. Because since Cliff was gone, any new band member would always remained as "the new guy". And Jason understood that. "...whether a few years or 20 years from now, I'll always be the new guy." It's just that particular void that no matter who it is, they always be the new ones. Cliff was Cliff.

but the hardwired album is sooo repetitive, don't you think? I would consider myself a hardcore metallica fan with Ride the Lightning and AJFA as my all time favorite albums. the thing is...when i listen to the drum parts (i am drummer so I can't help it) it's just so incredibly boring. boring fill ins, boring, standard beats, no ride cymbal again(!) and always this clunchy open hi hat throughout. also...there's hardly an amazing lead guitar solo. only thing that stands out is hetfield's voice. however, lyrics are boring as well.. one could say I am really disappointed of the new album...unfortunately.

Love Corey Taylor As A Singer,Song Writer And Lyrist. With that out of the way, you could tell with the question about "Would you change anything?" That there was some hesitation amongst James,Lars and Kirk And Rob(Espically Kirk And Rob) The Mustain Incident Early on to Cliff's Death to the Whole Time Jason was in the group and pushed out, And The St. Anger Sessions ,That there is a lot they would change. Poor Kirk too being in the group 30+ years and except a track here and there on an album Having Input as an Equal(Espically On Hardwired Having no input at all) That his response was reserved and didn't say what he really wanted to say. And I'm sorry Rob Still feels like a Hired Gun and Not An Equal! Love Metallica But Let's be Honest Here...

Lars- "In the early days, I wish I lived in the moment, rather than just thinking ahead right to next idea" Shit man, no wonder we had the 3 classic Metallica albums so quick. Then after Cliff died, each album just kept taking longer and longer to come out, to the point where it took 8 years from Death Magnetic to Hardwired; the same length of time from Kill Em All to The Black Album. I know they said they wouldn't have changed a thing, but you know they were thinking about Cliff(not Rob of course).

9:43 Lol, seems like Rob was there too. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that was him the first time talking in the video expect for "Ola" in the beginning

***** 13 years is a really long time and he wouldn't feel well if it was like that and would have already left the band. That wouldn't work

***** I'm pretty sure that it's not about the money. After a year he was fucking rich too. He got 1 million only for joining them and he is a really good bassist, so he could easily find another good band or just make his own one and get a good money with that. And a band won't work if a member can't have a say, can't decide about anything. All of them can have ideas and they should be handled the same. It won't work if you just say "Yo, asshole, you only play the bass, but you have got no right to say what we are doing". It's just like they would write the bass track and Rob just had to play it.

Rob still taking lessons ...Mexican Classic Guitar....and also his level as a Bass player is much to high to let it see in a Metallica song...I think he just likes playing with them, it's fun....
